    Release Pcsx-Rearmed

I seem to be getting issues with music in Strider 2 (NTSC) in r7. Starting a game or level, the music starts and you get a second or two of music continually repeating. I thought it was stutter originally due to too slow emulation, but it appears to happen even at 60fps sections.

    Gles Driver Bug

Not sure if you've seen, the TI forum post was replied to, pointing to limitations of the scaling hardware. The Original poster updated:

    Question about N64 emulator update?

That would be a yes - or rather, could you let him know he can contact Craig directly for a hasty replacement? It sounds like he fixed the Zelda issue *months* ago, so would be great seeing an updated gfx plugin release. Although seems a bit odd if his pandora has been knackered for months and...

Pandora Aclocal And Autoconf For Pandora?

The GTK+ test is failing because it can't find Lgio... I recall lots of GTK+ libs needing to be added. Try installing libgio-2.0-0 I think I also had to install libcairo. If you look at the error after the GTK failed test it gives you a clue.

Pandora Aclocal And Autoconf For Pandora?

The makefile is fine, if you have all needed libs and packages installed. It's probably libraries like libgl etc... If you run 'pkg-config gtk --libs' (or similar) it should show a list of libraries that you can work through with opkg to check... EDIT: Happy to help if you post your config.log...

Pandora Aclocal And Autoconf For Pandora?

'opkg install automake autoconf' will work on the Pandora IIRC, and get you what you need. You'll also want git-core, to pull down PUAE directly. PUAE also needs a pile of other libaries installed, after which it compiles fine. I can't recall them all, but you'll definitely want...

For the record, I've sorted this and got a successful cross-compilation by hacking up the sysconfig.h file to match various defines autodetected on the Pandora - might cause other problems, we shall see.

    P-Uae

I've compiled it native on the pandora, so have a uae executable I could share in a few days, not read up on PND building although looks pretty straightforward. If anyone wants to compile native, just use opkg to install all the dev system bits (gcc/autotools/git etc..) pull a git clone of...

    P-Uae

The PND version of PUAE from last year is old in PUAE terms. The latest PUAE version 2.3.1 feels much better to me, although WIP and still a bit slow when not in workbench, though it's utterly un-optimised at the moment. Not sure about the PND version, but in the current version of PUAE I would...

Running into some issues compiling PUAE with the toolchain. Running Ubuntu in a VM. I've pulled the PUAE source via git (and I can compile and run native on Ubuntu box - it also compiles fine native on a Pandora if you add the libs via opkg). Run setprj PUAE. PUAE is compiled through a shell...

Pandora Crosscompiler Toolchain Based On Openpandora.org Ipks

Trying to use this setup (Ubuntu 10.03, 32bit, in a VM - latest toolchain applied) to compile PUAE (https://github.com/GnoStiC/PUAE) Compiles fine natively on the Pandora (once you add all the missing libs and build tools). It's a bit messy (to my eyes) - relies on autoconf/automate/aclocal...

Pandora Crosscompiler Toolchain Based On Openpandora.org Ipks

Thanks for putting this script together - making life a lot easier. I've just been compiling on the Pandora up to know (faster than expected with a little OC) although I've been crashing GCC due to not enough memory when compiling with PGO... Hope this gets the official nod for standardised way...

Release Beta Test: Upcoming (HF5) Firmware Image BETA 3

Thanks for clarity. I suspect the mix of some named/some un-named and card swapping lead to confusion. Although it may be worth highlighting on the wiki - I'm pretty sure the instructions for installing Linux to a SD on the wiki specifically state that /dev/mmcblk0p1 is the one to use for the...

Release Beta Test: Upcoming (HF5) Firmware Image BETA 3

Great that this is fixed - was having lots of copy errors I could not attribute to anything (OS boots from large SD, so tend to copy lots). It does look like it must murder performance though - it must be re-reading every large block sector-by-sector? Also, speaking on SD's: Have also...

Why? Iphone battery is bad enough as it is - USB tethering would be immensely preferable to me. I'd love to know how to tether the iphone to the Pandora too...

    Beta Improved Sdl

I ran a recent compile of PUAE (2.3.1) with this (hoping to run at a lo-res 320x256 and scale up using hardware, although not sure how much benefit this would give vs just running at the Amiga's native 640x480 (NTSC) hires mode. Although I had PUAE configured to run in a 640x480, with the...

Thousands Of Alsa Buffer Underruns In Puae?

I'll investigate some more, maybe do some profiling. I don't have this issue on other SDL based emulators that run too slow. E.g mame.

Thousands Of Alsa Buffer Underruns In Puae?

I've compiled the latest version (2.3.1) of Gnostic's PUAE from the git here: https://github.com/GnoStiC/PUAE (Gnostic has thrown in a pandora build script now. It uses SDL sound; I can't get it to build with ALSA sound available in the source. I'm compiling direct on the pandora. After...

Somebody Please Do An Amiga Emulator!

I was testing out PUAE last week, and was surprised how well it runs - current version seems faster than the PND, and now OPP5 is available allowing much easier overclocks - going to make PUAE very useful I feel. Config is a bit of a mess (GUI is mostly-broken, so a lot of setting up need in...
