    Beta Mupen64Plus

Still following me around i see :) . I had what you might describe as quite a big weekend.... had last exam thursday, went out all night, went to work 9-5 on friday with zero sleep, went out saturday night again. Despite this I have managed to get the input plugin config files fully functional...

    Mupen64Plus

Yeah I know where your coming from. I like ppsp_input purely because it works and i understand it, meaning i can make changes with minimal effort. If someone gets blight input, etc to work I'll definitely include it with the emulator. However at the moment i don't especially want to be that someone.

    Faulty Nub....

Yeah, i was just replying to God Ginrai. He's made a few comments about it being too sensitive and i thought i would explain why. I have the same issues with my prototypes nubs. Initially both worked perfectly but now the left one is totally screwed and the right one doesn't register right...

    Faulty Nub....

Yeah, though the nubs are actually mapped 1:1 in mupen64plus.... its just that the N64 analog had a relatively massive amount of travel.

    Which Function For Scaling/zooming?

Haha man we're just running in circles :) . Exophase is correct, All rendering to the screen in mupen64plus is via opengl.... its all texture mapped polygons.

    Which Function For Scaling/zooming?

I'm sure Exophase knows this. Since the N64 can be HLE'd successfully i can render the polygons at whatever resolution i want. All textures are then stretched over these polygons, AKA textured mapped. The textures will be bilinearly or nearest neighbor filtered depending on what the games...

    Mupen64Plus

I'm just using text files for now, i generally prefer them to GUI's anyway. Writing something in GTK / QT takes twice as long and can be done at a later date.

I actually thought of this when i ported gln64.... but i looked at the source and noticed it was C++ which turned me off. The original gln64 looked easier to modify. I suck equally with the legal stuff, but maybe i should have svn submission permissions at least. I quickly hacked in key...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Correct. The Fog is used to hide the fact that stuff is popping up in the distance. Its always faster without fog, its just uglier. It depends on how hard the SGX is being pushed. If its being pushed hard, like in Banjo Kazooie, then it makes a significant gain. Sometime i'll test out the...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Just to be clear, if "frame skip=1" that means that NO frames are skipped. If it equals 2 then its half framerate, 3 = 1/3 framerate, etc. It outputs the fps to stdout, so run it from the terminal. Its probably best to use something like: "/usr/pandora/scripts/pnd_run.sh -p mupen64plus-r1.pnd...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Heya, thanks. I made the changes to the PXML but it didn't fix my problem, so it must be something else with my build process. At the moment i do mkisofs in windows (as the wiki explains) then cat the PXML+icon on the Pandora. I say it might be something to do with permissions because if i copy...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

I've had the same problem, i don't think it has anything to do with mupen. You can manually navigate to the SD card by clicking File System then: /media/mmcblk0p1 (or mmcblk1p1, etc).

    Beta Mupen64Plus

3...2...1 Here's a GUI version: Mupen64plus R1 This is mainly a usability release. The GUI should be ~fully functional. Notes: - Read the readme.txt. - Added x11 support to gles2n64, Windowed & Fullscreen modes work. - Modified Mupen64plus config gui code to fit the screen. - You can now exit...

    My Homebrew Shmup-ish: Superlumenal.

Its currently sitting on the massive list of other crap i have to do. :) Its still got a way to go, i need to write software for controls, generating the levels & playing the music. I'll probably just use mplayer in the background to play music, so i can support alot of different file types...

    Perfect 50Hz-Scrolling For Amiga Games!

Another reason is for emulators with performance problems If they only have to render 50/N frames then that might be enough to make it fullspeed. I suggest using PAL games on mupen64plus. PS: Good work. I will find this very useful.

    Beta Mupen64Plus

Is this true with X11? If you want to upscale the rendering I do render to a framebuffer which is not ideal, but you have to enable this in the configs (its not on by default). Yeah, I have a config option to disable alpha testing. It has a measurable effect but its not huge. I'm implementing...

    Beta Mupen64Plus

I don't 100% understand what you mean by this, i assume you mean it maps the combiners to a smaller subset of blendmodes. This is what the PSP emulator does, except it sometimes renders things in 2 or more passes to get it approximately right (multiple passes would be a total waste of time with...

    Aussie Pandoras

Canberra, I guess my prototype doesn't count :). I have a retail unit on the way but I'm probably nearer the end of the queue.
