My first robot will be Pandora controlled. Hopefully the Pandora will be able to display video and some telemetry as well as control using the nubs and touch screen.
Probably using wifi for video and bluetooth for everything else.
That's a long ways off tho.
Guys, all this does is make the Pandora scream when it gets unplugged. This could be circumvented by turning down the volume. The purpose is for the act of theft drawing attention. Not to disable the Pandora after theft or something.
I have an idea for a simple anti-theft app.
Run app
If charger or USB cable not connected play loud noise
Continue playing noise until charger is connected or password is entered
If password is entered while charger is connected app is closed
Obviously this would not work against all...

I had plans to build one that uses the EXT port, but there wasn't anyone interested in handling the software side making buttons over the GPIO pins on the ext port so I abandoned that.
Regarding Half Life: I was able to run it on a 380XD thinkpad with 233MHz (maybe 266) and 96 MB ram. This was at a low (20?) Frame Rate at an impossibly tiny resolution (must have been QVGA or smaller!) so I doubt it will run well on the Pandora. If you want to try I recommend finding an earlier...
