I'm the happy owner of an Everdrive GB (Model ED-GB V1.2 with OS version 4; not the newer X-Versions).
I'm using it with my GameBoy Pocket.
Just out of curiosity: What are those Mapper-settings for? (You can choose between MBC1, MBC2, MBC3, MBC5 and ROM)
I have the "Save RAM"-Option activated...
Actually I'm using QR-Codes quite often to quickly transfer URL's or (longer system) passwords from my desktop-pc to my smartphone. On Kubuntu you can create QR-Codes from your clipboard with one mouseclick.
For NFC I also don't have any useful task till now.
Anyway... I also wish there...
Instead of making it wet the case should be coated with this material:
Feels very nice and sticky! This is the closest you will get to "wet" without the need to reapply moisturer. And once you drop it on the floor you can grow all kinds of little animals on your Pyra. This is a whole new...
I'm also not quite happy with the Pyra being a clamshell-device.
This form-factor would suit much better the needs of most people - I'm sure of this! No poll needed here for sure.
Everybody wants to ride a trojan Pyra!
I'm self-hosting a GitLab Community Instance since 2014 and I'm pretty happy with it.
The features grew over the year and it is running rockstable.
It's a bit of work to get it up and running. And it needs 1-2h per month for maintenance (security updates etc.)...
If you compare the price tag with the Nintendo Classic Mini (or however it is called) it doeesn't look that bad for me...
And if it really is an open system I don't care that much about not getting updates from Atari itself anymore in future...
I will be happy with an (slightly overpriced) Kodi...
I'm curious how "OPEN" the system will be at the end. If you can gain full access to the underlying linux system and things programs like Kodi or RetroPi are running on this machine besides some server programs (BIND, Apache Webserver, BackupPC, etc.) I would consider spending the money...
OK. that's mbarrassing... turns out tht the batteries in he game boy self where not fresh enough... forgo to load the accumulators...
EDGB works as intended again *blush*
Hi, since a few days I can’t load new Roms on my edgb. When trying to load a ton from the sd-card, the message “erase...” appears for a short moment and then the gab is restarting. When trying to start the loaded rom, the full-black Nintendo logo appears. It seems, that the loaded rom is...
@atari_afternoon it's indeed a fun game. I Made photographs of the password screen with my smartphone instead of writing the 12 characters down. But unfortunately they seem to be invalid when reentering them...
Just played Road Rash on my Gameboy pocket.
An arcade-style motorcycle racing game. Which is really fun. Not too difficult though. You are racing against other drivers and can beat them off their bikes. You earn money when you finish a race. With the money you can buy stronger and faster...
