    Kickstarter for TV out Cables

I would also really be interested in this. For my current project I'm going to find a din-plug that suits my need and solder that to a tinyBoB. (although I would like A/V and at least the 2 UARTs on it)

    TV-Out Cable ?

Do you have any substantial evidence for this? Otherwise I'll put that statement back in the koelkast.

    TV-Out Cable ?

These plugs are quite normal and ubiquitous:

    PanDebian

^ you don't need to shout. Having played with this before I'd still like a proper debian install for the pandora (should really work on that again ;) ).

Pandora is image of the week at openstreetmap.org

Hmmm, I still have a usb-gps-thingy somewhere .. should try to get it to work! :D (although for mobile stuff a powered usb-hub is sub-optimal ..)

    The possibility of PureData

Yes. Slackware really needs some getting used to for me. Also there are quite some slack-builds missing. I should really look in to debian again. Maybe the builds aren't optimized, but they have loads of prebuild armel packages and pd-extended should be much easier to build. (right now I'm...

    The possibility of PureData

Pfew, finally had time to revisit this. So, on SL4P linuxswat already had jack and Pd packages, however these did not work as expected (qjackctl is fine). With Jack1 I had many issues, among others an 'alignment trap' which is apparently known for jack on arm systems and has been fixed in the...

    Slackware for Pandora 14.0

For me I followed this guide too, but perhaps my former musings with sysctl messed things up already? Btw, I used sed to change the sudoers file: ~$ sudo sed -i 's/darkstar/<newhostname>/g' /etc/sudoers Somehow I'm reluctant to change it again since I don't want to re-install it yet again

    SGX driver installer (beta)

Hmz, in that case I have no idea if jack or Pd will ever be able to run on the Pandora :(

    SGX driver installer (beta)

http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php/topic/9219-alsa-issue-twl4030-hifi-hw-params/ And for twl4030 I saw that Peter Ujfalusi did some recent (december) commits. I don't know if these fix this issue, but it would be nice if this gets resolved (my main project on the Pandora is completely...

    SGX driver installer (beta)

Hmm, does this newer kernel include the latest twl4030 fixes? (the 'set hw params' issue) I might just install it just for that.

    Slackware for Pandora 14.0

    I don't see why not. It's a kingston 16Gb. Will try a re-install then :/ (But damnit, I want my own hostname!!!!)

Moving default OS of the Pandora to Ubuntu OS?

It's more important that we get the current system up to date and bug-free than go back to the drawing board. Considering the limitations on the storage and overal performance, the default OS should most probably remain Ångström. Nobody is stopping you from making a port of Ubuntu that you...

    Slackware for Pandora 14.0

I get the same popup with 'Mounting the PND failed. The application wont start. Please have a look at /tmp/<script>.out' For instance with the lcdsettings:

    Slackware for Pandora 14.0

Works fine. I get the 'Usage:' output for iwlist. But this also happens when I don't sudo ;) (I can also '/sbin/iwlist scan' without sudo, so I don't think this is reliable to check if sudo works :P )

    Slackware for Pandora 14.0

Yes, also added uucp since I want to be able to access the serial-ports. After first boot everything was fine, just after my slight poking did everything slowly fall apart .. [Edit: oops, the WM-borders-thing was a setting I accidentally set in terminator! so the only problem I have now is...
