Looks good :) the hires render go some way to alay my fears that it looked cheap/tacky.
In fact I think it reminds me of a zx81 ;) (That's actually a compliment btw) .. Well they're both black.
I use Mandriva Spring 2007 with KDE and it's fine..
Don't have anything else to say... Guess some people prefer one over another.
You can try mandriva without installing it - just run from CD/DVD - probably all of them let you do that though.
I develop under linux all (bloody) day and Mandriva's...
Looking good - didn't like the original renders but I have softened to the design.
Only comment I have is that 'it looks cheap' (well I know it is relatively), but I can't figure out why..
It may something as simple as the typeface on the keyboard - I just can't tell..

I think you can... there's loads of docs with the source that explains everything; at least it was way more in-depth than I needed. :)
