You can however just use the new volume scalers to affect the global volume. Use the Vol+/- to change between modes, and the settings are located in the Open2X settings.
(I find that having two separate volume settings to be redundant and makes things more complicated.)

Have just installed open2x DR7 on my F100 and am well impressed by it. :)
Admittedly I was on FW 2.1.0 still, so getting gmenu2x and SDHC support thrown in was great.
Main problem I now have is (the problem I have always had with gp2x software) that I struggle to know what buttons do in each...
Yeah, I refuse to register or post on this forum <damn :o > as I think it a sad shadow of gp32x.de.
And kyosys was right - we get these problems because of the complaining that went on; fingers crossed the proper forum will be back soon.
I always recommend Mandriva - as someone else said about their recommendation "it just works".
I'm really impressed with it now (and I've been using/developing under UNIX for 25+ years).
Actually I also use Mandriva under VISTA & XP using virtualbox.
Thought for a moment it wa the dreaded old gp2x-allegro-blackscreen problem that had migrated to windows :blink:
There are (albeit) a few allegro users on here; but we're in the minority :)
Last week bought a 32lg3000 for my son's room - very pleased with it ('hidden speaker system' - sounds okay for tv speakers) - even on a 32" (1366x768) the xbox via hdmi looks stunning :) He now has the best tv in the house as we have a (was top of the range) philips w/s 32" tv (old-skool-crt)-...
