No telnet or ftp or samba - maybe could copy the execs from earlier firmware and start them up automatically...?
Would be nice to see the source code released to see differences between f100 & f200 firmwares.
Personally I will be sticking with the gp2x for at least a year - I never take up new hardware as soon as it's released - I value my money too much :)
With respect to the firmware, I had hoped that open2x would be released, but I think those guys have jumped ship (at least temporarily) to get...
Is this a reasonable list of what's supported?

I believe the following frequencies work on the F200 - I think the F100 supports more, but these should be enough:
8000
11025
16000
22050
32000
44100
48000 Hz
Samples can be mono or stereo - the channels are interleaved.

Sorry, can't help - maybe have look at the source code (if available) to see what/why it does this?
Don't know any reason why it should write to anywhere but it's install directory..
Oh well time will tell -= it did sound too good to be true, but we had our hopes..
He may of course be in '99% done' hell like many of us find ourselves in (I'm in that position at the moment).
