I finally finished my handle for my pandora. It took a couple months because I was shaping it with hand files a little at a time. I played Tetris DX to test how comfortable it was since I can play that game for hours. It took many times playing and reshaping it. I was originally going to...
I wanted all of them so I made cables with male ends that are 12 foot and 6 foot and then I built a 6 inch cable with female ends. I put svideo and composite on all of them as well as line out. I am going to make a new 6 inch one with line in as well.
I don't have a problem usually. I bought a wifi dongle so that I could have reliable wifi. My pandora would not stay connected to my router at home with the built in wifi.
I have never tried LXDE before and I have the same menu problem. I did have an error message whenever I opened the menu and chose PND. I just switched GUIs and then switched back and the error message stopped but the menu is still messed up.
It seems that Openbox is setup to move the windows with Alt+drag instead. I found in /etc/xdg/openbox/rc.xml on line #345 it has
<mousebind button="A-Left" action="Drag">
I changed it to say "S-Left" and restarted Openbox. It changes it to be Shift + Drag like in XFCE. I don't think it...
Windows definately supports multiple keyboards/mouses. I was just testing an HP wireless keybord and mouse combo on my Windows XP machine at work while the other keyboard and mouse were still connected. Both sets worked perfectly fine.
I built my own cable. I don't know if the converter you posted is the exact same but mine still does not look all that great, even on my smaller 20 inch monitor. I had to mess with the brightness and contrast settings to even make it usable and after that, the picture was still really grainy...
I have one of those although it is a different brand and it does work. I have not tried to hook it up to an actual computer monitor yet but I did connect it to my 40 inch HDTV through the VGA port and it looked OK. It did seem a little fuzzy on my TV but it could just be that my TV doesn't...
I was using PNDManager about a week ago and whenever I would try to install something, PNDManager would just crash to the desktop. Then I realized my internet had gone down in between installing and testing some apps. I would definitely be good to show that there is no internet access.
I actually found something kind of strange with this. I was playing Blockdude from willemsoft.be (joyrider) and it ran too fast to play easily. I found that there were 2 versions of Blockdude on my card. The newest version is 1.3 where joyrider added external joystick support and that version...
What length of cable would you want? Do you want both SVideo and composite video? Does the color of the wire matter? I could build another one tonight but the wire will be a white wire if that would not bother you. If you want a black wire, it will really depend on what length you want it to...
I was playing it with my TV out cable last week. I have not tried RC2 but I will try it tonight. I am sure it will work the same as 0.8.1 but you never know.
I think there must be a problem with my Pandora because I was only into the 3rd level of the tutorials when my system locked up again. I renamed the previous appdata folder so it would be a fresh go. I had turned on SSH yesterday just in case so I logged in and the pndrun_microbes.out only...
How long do you want the cable to be? It is currently 10 feet long. I built it with Svideo and composite ends on it. I have tested it on 2 different LCD screens as well as a crappy CRT and it works fine on all of them.
Where do you live? I have built 3 cables so far and have 7 more EXT plugs. If you are in the US I could probably make one for you unless you want my first test one. It's kind of a mess but it works fine. I will clean it up some first.
