I am curious, did anyone test the recompiled version on the Pyra?

    Release Gunfight

I guess just compiling it for Linux arm will do. You can test this on your Pyra

    Release Gunfight

Its not that movie I had in mind. You will need to play the game to get a clue, and then you also will find answer to your question.

running linux arm executables on Pandora

If nothing else helps, you could try extracting the PND to a folder on your Sdcard. Then use the terminal and cd into that folder, and then run the command: ./runscript.sh It should run then. But if it does not, at least you get some output in the terminal that might give you a clue.

How to format the description in the PMXL.xml?

I would like to have the description for the PND formatted to make the text that shows up in the repo to be more readable. Is there a way to add linefeeds into the decription? I have noticed that most releases on the repo does have either the text in one big section, or as a very short...

running linux arm executables on Pandora

It should run on 1Ghz pandoras, because that is what I have been testing it on. Try to remove the old donkeykong files from your pandora before installing 1.79. Then reboot after reinstalling

running linux arm executables on Pandora

I have updated DonkeyKong at the repo. I have resized it to 800x480 to avoid cpu usage for scaling, so now it is fullscreen by default. Also uploaded my two other LCD remakes, FireAttack and Runaway. Bolh converted to 800x480.

I see, I will update the XML's for my releases then. It looks like the search only finds what is inside the description, not information written in addidional info.

    Release Robin Hood Demo

Is it possible to play the full version if one have the datafiles? Tip for everyone: This is a good game, similar gameplay to the Commandos games. I just purchased it on Steam for NOK 5.60 (less than 1 EUR) . It is on 90% sale until 16.august.

Bomb Finder seem hard to locate any gameplay vidoes of, but I found a few pictures at handheldmuseum.com. But the gameplay you describe sounds a bit similar to the G&W game Bomb Sweeper. I never played it myself though.

running linux arm executables on Pandora

I did send you a message PM on this matter a while back. I wonder if you got the time to look at it (suggestion for making a box86 pnd)?

running linux arm executables on Pandora

I do agree that the mentioned titles are repetitive and quite frantic for my taste. Still, I do have one of them ported to Hollywood already and will try to make a PND out of it sometime soon. I only ported 3 games I have been playing myself in my youth. I had Donkey Kong myself, and a friend...

running linux arm executables on Pandora

The last command in runscript.sh is ./setxkbmap, the comment states it is to restore the keymap. But the command does not set the keymap back to its user defined setting or even to the Default-pandora-US keyboard setting. I notice this because after the game is finished, many of the Fn key...

running linux arm executables on Pandora

I did compile a fullscreen version of the DonkeyKong game. But I worry that the scaling may decrease the performance of the game to much, so I havent replaced the pnd on the repo yet. Figured that I could post the fullscreen version here, and just put a link to it on the repo. That way people...

running linux arm executables on Pandora

In case anyone else needs to know the syntax for mapping the pandora keys in pnd's, I found the xev tool quite useful for getting the correct keysym names. ptitSeb already listed a couple, but here is a list of what I think are the most common keys to map: GAME A = Home GAME B = End GAME Y =...

running linux arm executables on Pandora

I have uploaded my first PND to the repo now. Only tested on my own 1ghz pandora, hope it runs ok on all pandoras.

running linux arm executables on Pandora

The space mapping did not work, but I just remembered that i also did map the J key to jump as well, and this worked: xmodmap -e "keysym Next = j" Also I now got the sounds to work better. Hollywood had a similar problem when using very short soundsamples for the android version, so I had to...
