Colour is the new "two months" tm! ;)
I'm having to sit on my hands here. Great news ED! So we could still be in with a chance of early test Pyras by the end of the year?
Doesn't time fly when you're having fun :)
I've only been popping in every month or two until recenrly but things are really going great guns now. Once again congrats to ED and the team. Here' s hoping you sell pyras by the bucket load.
Hey Grench didn't recognise you with that avatar. Would love to test the audio but as a full time carer for a relative with an Learning Disability I no longer have the option of getting out and about much. I'm sure the Pyra audio will be at worst, very good and if it isn't better than the...
Time to start saving my pennies. Looks like I came back just as things are starting to really pick up.
Just one question ED. I know you're trying to make the Pyra's audio as good or better than the Pandora but on paper specs can be deceiving. Have you done a like for like listening test between...
RO would be great. I've not played it but I do know it's very highly regarded.
I did post a browser based MMO list for Pandora here a few years ago. I would expect a lot of the failed MMOs on the list to run on the Pyra. There are certainly several there I'd like to revisit :) Here's a link...
I can easily live with 2gig of ram. I only have a cc Pandora and that has 256 MB and it's amazing what the old girl can do, especially with swap files. More ram is always good but 2gig will go a long way. As FaeMinx says, the next SOC board will have more.
I don't visit for a couple of months and then come back to this. Wow ED things have progressed. I can almost feel a Pyra in my hands. I know better than to ask for an ETA but that horizon isn't so far away now. Time to visit more often methinks.
Congrats on getting this far :)
I pre ordered a cable years ago from Craig but I've just put myself on EDs notification list and I will buy it again to support OP and ED in particular. They guy is about as decent as they come and I'm happy to add a little bit of support.
Talking of support, my other half has just got a full...
Aaaargh! I have left my Pandora at home so can't try these at lunchtime. Oh well nevermind!
Thanks for all your hard work on these ptitSeb. It's very much appreciated and I'll be installing tonight when I get home from work.
Again I have to disagree. It depends on your use of the Pandora. For audio alone the Pandora is worth the money. People pay as much and more for an ipod with a decent dock lead and a good portable amp. Also, if you think a phone and a ICP will replace the Pandora then you really have missed the...
Actually I'd beg to differ there. The Pandora is an Audiophile grade portable music player. To get an ipod up to this level of quality would require an expensive dock lead and a decent portable amp.
Why is it people cannot get that the Pandora is a Pocket PC. It's not just a console. If you want a reality check just have a look at the price of all the previous pocket PCs there have been and you will see the Pandora is actually reasonably priced, especially for what it can do.
My Pandora...
Not doing anything yet but I'm seriously tempted to get Blitz Basic up and running on Amiga. Time is my only enemy tbh. Coding is addictive and I lost weeks at a time to my Blitz stuff back in the day :)
Not sure if it's been mentioned here but GOG are selling their Interplay entire catalogue starting at pay what you want prices.
8 games - pay what you want
20 games - Pay above average
all 32 games $34.99 This is the option I went for.
Goodies like these :)
