Sega Saturn more powerful than the psx?

Yeah, we stuck the stack in the scratchpad, got a crazy speedup like 10 or 15%. Of course I had to do a mass of stack depth checking (i.e builds that monitored stack depth after testers had been through the game in multiple modes several times in a single sitting) before we left it in there.

Sega Saturn more powerful than the psx?

I used to a be a games programmer back in those days (1997 - 2000) and spent most of my time on the PSX. I helped out the Saturn guy a bit with the PSX port and the thing that struck me most was how much better Sony's libraries were than Sega's. You needed like a page and half of initialisation...

AMFV is great, but quite involved. Not overly difficult but save often.

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

P4G is native resolution I think. Looks really sharp on the OLED Vita.

Normal Nub problem or a broken nub?

I'll take a look later as my right nub has similar sounding problems. Going to try an check for a dry solder joint when I have the time.

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

I love my Vita. In fact, I think that the PSP and Vita have been amazing. I've massively enjoyed the DS and 3DS maybe not so much, but the PSP (with cracked firmware - paying from Memory Stick) and now the Vita are my go-to systems. Having said that though, all PS1 games I play, I play on the...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Persona 4G on Vita. Finished my undergrad degree project, all finished forever (unless I fail!), so I'm getting some P4G loveliness. Really liking it, only 9 hours or so in.

    Nintendo Wii U

I have the white. I think it's harder to get a matching pro-controller, I had to import mine from Canada because UK shops don't sell them.

How far away are we from achieving full-speed XBOX 360 and PS3 emulation @full-speed (with sound) on

Why's that? The PS3 cell is an extremely bespoke CPU architecture with little available outside-of-Sony/IBM knowledge. The Xbox 360 cpu is a somewhat bespoke PowerPC with multiple cores (asymmetric cores I think), but given the success of the Dolphin project and how long PowerPC cpus and...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Yeah, none of those answers, answers my original question, as I haven't found anywhere information that says the PS3 version of Yakuza 4 is remote playable.

Hi Cesar! And welcome to the OpenPandora community! The latter assertion, is correct. We have an app repository and it's an app that folks can download.

Cracked FW? I thought Yakuza 4 didn't have remote play?

Amiga 1200 cases - Kickstarter- (again)

It's a well specified and thought out design, I think. They need to drop the price a bit 79 EUR is a bit too much. If they could afford to shave off 10 EUR they'd probably have more success. I'm not saying the project is overpriced; this is an expensive endeavour. But it just puts it outside...

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

I just pre-ordered Space Hulk and Two Brothers. Two Brothers is out tomorrow in the UK and Space Hulk at the end of the month. I'll have finished my University project by then, so good times!

    New Amiga 1200 cases! Kickstarter.

It's too much money for an individual case. Whilst I appreciate the expense of doing it and the thought that's gone in; the customisation for hew hardware etc., but it's simply too expensive. For 30 quid I'd have been in like a shot, 40 even, not 50-something GBP at current exchange rates.

Tales of Gorluth 2. Amiga homebrew game.

I think I may be misunderstanding, but I think the 020 requirement is purely on clock speed isn't it? i.e the game will run slowly on a 68000 at 7mhz but at 14mhz on the A1200's 020 it will run a bit faster, thus more playable.
