I know some people have played around with KDE4 on the nokia n900. It should be possible to have it running on the Pandora.
That being said it probably requires a fair bit of work and beside the coolness factor I am not sure it would bring that much.
I think the shoulder button and gaming control can register everything.
The keyboard is two key at the same time IIRC.. that being said the Start / Select / Pandora button might be different.
And to finish my favorite shortcut on the Pandora:
Left Shoulder button + Right Shoulder Button +...
I also applied one of those screen protector with application fluid. I followed the instruction and did not have a problem. I removed the battery and leave it to dry for about a day I think.
In your case it seems like a though one. The noise especially seems to indicate something bad happened...
Nice little office :)
There is a lot of stuff but everything seem to be sorted nicely. The gaming arcade in the middle of the office is really cool.
It kind of give us a idea of everything you are dealing with, which is cool. You're doing all the work yourself if I am not mistaken. Plus...
My unit (ebay refurb from Craig store) was also showing something similar recently. For now it went away... it's kind of strange.
I don't think it was software issue though because it didn't go away at first (and I tried removing the battery).
I still have my original order so I'll wait...
There is no video in only video out. For audio there is a stereo audio in however.
More importantly what do you want Video In for ??
I would imagine capture device could possibly work. It would have to be supported by Linux and you'll need to have the right driver on the Pandora (might...
It's definitely not good to have the device charging (red light on) once it reached 100%. It should stop charging however that does not happen for a number of battery (including mine). In the next hotfix the charging software will probably be tweaked.
In the meanwhile I suggest you check this...
Yeah, ideally the first post should be edited to announce the winner... I guess Pandorapress will mention the ending of the competition and the winners too.
I want to say a big thank you to all the dev as well as to Richiz for organizing the competition.
I was also quite surprise to see the...
I've tried all the game beside Robot Hell (the pnd didn't seem to work) and I really had fun trying them.
This kind of competition really shows the spirit of the Pandora and it's community.
I want to thank all the developer who participated :)
I always thought this competition was a great...
Some 2.5'' harddrive do exceed the USB limit (500mah) so the risk to the USB circuit is maybe real.
If you're intending to use the harddrive only / mainly for your Pandora and you will be carrying it a lot with you maybe you should consider a 1.8'' harddrive. They are a lot more expensive per...
This definitely sound like an hardware issue and I would RMA it.
That being said heat really isn't a problem on an ARM device such as the Pandora. There is no heat sink and no need for any particular cooling. The only time the device will effectively warm up is when you are charging it.
Always in the Pandora:
2x 32GB SDHC (Transcend class 10) - FAT32
+
Samsung S1 250GB 1.8'' USB hard drive (small!) - NTFS
16GB USB key - FAT32
The harddrive is great for putting my large music library, some extra playstation cd image, backup of the 2 SD card, videos...
It's really...
If you're NOT in a hurry you could always order them on dealextreme... they do have one and it's pretty inexpensive.

I am sure you could find them some other place though.
Guideline representing which button should be used for what function sound like a good idea to me. Having a more consistent key mapping would already go a long way to not confuse users.
Uniform interface across emulator is not a major concern for me. Pickle launcher is a good choice but as far...
Isn't the Pandora wifi chip the same as the one in the N900. Does the N900 have problem with wifi ?
I don't believe it's the chipset itself that is at fault here. IF there is really a hardware issue maybe it could be the board design or the interface it uses.
I think the possibility that...
I have been playing Symphony of Night and it runs full-speed (60fps) most of the time but it definitely does slow down when there is a lot of action / visual effect. When dying the game also slow down significantly.
Overall it is perfectly playable. Great game :)
It's definitely fishy and just stupid. 160GBP for a SDCARD with software ?!
If all the software on the SDCARD is under a licenece that permit selling for a profit (GPL...) then it should be legal (if access to all the source code is possible). What's probably happening is that is contains a...
