nice video! your stream of consciousness style was pretty entertaining! it looks to me like you might not be using the latest beta firmware which is a shame since you would have seen the great new standby battery time and other similar improvements. i feel like if i did a review of the pandora...
Thats still not really the point is it? if you want to say that of the very readily available handhelds out there it is affordable and performs well then fine but then why try and make a comparison that is a lie? If you want to say "there are more powerful devices out there but they are hard to...
I have! It works really well and is feature packed! Looks like the PSX games have pretty much all our cue sport bases covered really, short of some super modern high resolution game with crazy graphics. Must admit that I am not as keen on Virtual Pool's cuing action (press back, press up). Much...
Notaz, did this and though i still had to sudo modprobe ehci-hcd, the dongle worked right after that without any other prompting
EDIT - Enabled USB host and it just works, so all sorted then! thanks
Okay, bit long winded but can you see if the dvb_usb_dib0700 driver comes up when you do dmesg
If so try:
reboot
put in the dongle
in terminal type:
sudo modprobe dvb_usb_dib0700
sudo modprobe ehci-hcd
It might work then. Otherwise if a different driver comes up that reads similar...
I got a bit of help on this online last night from Da|Mummy which worked
It looks like your dongle uses the 8188cu chip so you might need to swap that driver in but the instructions he recommended to me were:
reboot
open terminal
sudo modprobe 8192cu
sudo modprobe ehci-hcd
And then...
so far as i can tell, no problems for me right now, though i wasnt sure if i was getting the most responsive button presses (i wouldn't take this too seriously and i havent tested much and games seemed fine), also i wonder if those default scroll bars are actually a little too big! i can change...
Well, don't feel the weight of too much pressure dude, I managed to get my hands on a copy of World Championship Snooker for PSX and its a pretty nice game! Just played one frame and made an 84 break! The difficulty level isn't too high but its nice. Its actually possibly the nicest snooker game...
yeah i like 9ball for quick games particularly against newer players as it levels the field a bit. i prefer 8ball pool though i don't know whether i prefer american sized 9x4.5ft pool or english 6x3ft pool. very different games. snooker is the one for me though, its so much more tactical and the...
I could not (and am still struggling to) find billiard3d. Foobilliards didn't appeal because although it looks like a good game for pool, the table sizes for their snooker game looks really off i.e. it looks like its on a 6x3ft or 9x4.5ft table rather than a 12x6. The other game simply looks...
I hate creating threads like this because so many get shot down in flames however I was wondering whether this might be a potential port to the pandora?

I've been looking at handheld snooker and pool games recently and I am pretty unimpressed with the...
This a pretty retarded article on the whole. Nintendo managed to sell 9.8 million beefed up Gamecubes after 6 years of outselling its three competitors, with its next iteration right around the corner. Despite the price cut, the 3DS is doing better than the original DS did over the same time...
man, feeling pretty excited about this. i feel like the next beta, possibly including the zram stuff is just around the corner however so in the name of NAND love, everything sounds very great though
Interesting music taste you have! Of the 3 artists you listed I can only attest to be able to play a few Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac songs. Oh Well takes a little while, particularly the end solo but you'll get there. I would actually recommend learning to play something like Albatross since its...
