    Ti 99/4a W/ Sound Added To Gp2xmess

Sounds cool. It doesn't seem that mess supports that system. Are there any emulators with source available for that calculator? ~telengard

    Ti 99/4a W/ Sound Added To Gp2xmess

Hi TelcoLou, I can help you out. You shouldn't need a startup script. There should be a ti99_4a.gpe startup script included in the zip file. Select that and then once "in" the ti system the left shoulder button brings up a menu. You can add carts through the "File Manager" menu. The README...

    Ti 99/4a W/ Sound Added To Gp2xmess

Yeah, most games do run @ that resolution but xmess seems to take the largest possible on the Apple ][ which is double-hires mode (560x192) double the width. Any thing that fits under 320x240 won't be scaled if possible. ~telengard

    Ti 99/4a W/ Sound Added To Gp2xmess

Hehe, is that a calculator or something? I was thinking of enabling the "Tomy Tutor" driver just for kicks. :) ~telengard

    Ti 99/4a W/ Sound Added To Gp2xmess

Heh, I don't think it's that complicated, more I'm code challenged. ;) What they've done is really cool as far as supporting blitting from any depth to any depth and other stuff, and made it quite modular. But it is *very* hard to read and follow. It will be done soon I hope though. I'm...

    Ti 99/4a W/ Sound Added To Gp2xmess

Hiya, I just added ti99/4a support to gp2xmess. I'm happy to say it runs at full speed w/ the default fs and also has sound. So this release supports: Atari 7800 Colecovision TI 99/4A I have only tested a few carts, no disks yet. Since I don't have a virtual keyboard you may have to map...

    Vice2x Update

Awesome, I'm going to try this out tonight. Space Taxi on the gp2x, woot! snaff, how "portable" is the virtual keyboard code? I need to add a virtual keyboard soon since I am adding TI99/4a support to gp2xmess and I'm on the lookout for some code to nab. ;) If it's pretty straightforward...

    Tilematch V0.5

Cool, I'll get started working on them soon. I'll check out that file too. VBR is 'variable bit rate', correct? Hehe, I'm hoping the gremlins fix this one because I'd really like to be able to lower the volume. :) ~telengard

    Tilematch V0.5

Hmm, I'm more of a musician than a sound effects designer although I'd like to give it a shot. :) Sure, I'll come up with some bloopy sounds for the animals. What format would you need them in? Hmm, that's weird. I put in some real simple code in my event handler, pretty much #if 0'ing...

    Tilematch V0.5

Hi there, Thanks for the update. I could maybe whip up a small 'chiptune' using QuadraSid or one of the other bleepy VSTs I have. It'd be a nice break from working on gp2xmess. :) Let me know if you'd like that. I too tried out the HW accel SDL and joystick input caused flickering so...

GP2X Does Click Button Work In Sdl?

I haven't tried the click yet but the Volume Down isn't registering for me. I'm using the open2x stuff for std toolchain and the libs from http://gp2x.org/gp2x/libs/. I also tested that the volume down button works w/ other non-sdl apps, like the LCD timing app. I'm also using the values from...

Colecovision! New (pre-alpha) Release Of Gp2xmess

Not yet, but I do plan on adding support for it. I need to get the virtual keyboard stuff done for that. What good Coleco Adam games were there? I only remember Buck Rodgers tape I think. Don't be afraid of the Coleco, it won't hurt... unless you fear Smurfs. ;) ~telengard

Colecovision! New (pre-alpha) Release Of Gp2xmess

Awesome and thanks! Glad to see someone diggin' the Coleco. I always wanted one as a kid, I had a 2600 and had coleco envy. Venture was so close to the arcade version compared the Atari 2600. I'm not sure if I'll ever get over that. ;) I've been following this stuff a lot. I will put...

Colecovision! New (pre-alpha) Release Of Gp2xmess

Hmm, I didn't notice that but I will check that out. I am sorting by name but can also sort by dir too. Yep, that would be nice. I'll add that to the TODO, not sure what it would entail though. Yeah I'm finding it pretty decent. I'd still like to optimize it though. I was hoping some of...

Colecovision! New (pre-alpha) Release Of Gp2xmess

Nope not yet, tried firing that one up but it crashes pretty quick on startup. Will need some work. Heh, the Apple ][ is a big deal to me too. I love Oregon Trail, Cavern Creatures, Choplifter (best on the apple), Loderunner (again best on apple IMO 2 buttons!!). ~telengard

Colecovision! New (pre-alpha) Release Of Gp2xmess

Hi everyone, This version has support for the Colecovision console. After wrestling w/ the Atari 7800 emulation all last week I was beginning to get a little dissapointed. The coleco emulation however, is quite good. I played some Carnival and Donkey Kong (very difficult without a 4-way...
