What simple game controller to use for emulators

Thanks guys, I bought this one: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Lioncast-USB-PC-Controller-Gamepad-im-Snes-Retro-Style-Neu-/190706268108?pt=DE_PC_Videospiele_Controller&hash=item2c66fab7cc and will see how it works. I'll use an OTG adapter probably, as it is clumsy to put a hub in between. I...

What simple game controller to use for emulators

Hi guys, when gaming with the Pandora, I usually don't use a seperate game controller. However, I'd like to be able to play some 2-player games with my daughter in emulators such as SNES, MD etc, using TV-OUT. What kind of external game controller can you recommend for it? I don't know...

    Port request: "KDEPIM/PI" PIM suite

When I tried to compile the qt4 port, I also got until a KIconLoader problem and then gave up. ;-) Hopefully someone can see something wrong here and help out.

    Port request: "KDEPIM/PI" PIM suite

I don't know what klever.net is or what it is for at all. I was just pointed to that qt4 port of KDEPIM/PI by the author of the original KDEPIM/PI. He said the port was useless to him, but he pointed me to it, in case it helps us.

Daniel here :-) But sorry, I never used Debian on the Zaurus, so I fear I cannot help.

Keyboard light enabler is almost ready. Q: What can go into the firmware, what to put into PND?

Hi notaz, okay, good ideas, let's do it that way. Re. your proposed change to op_power.sh: Should op_power_custom.sh contain all the code that's now in op_power.sh and op_power.sh calls the _custom variant and quits then, or should op_power.sh call op_power_custom.sh in each of its functions...

    Port request: "KDEPIM/PI" PIM suite

Hi Mark, I just came across a qt4 port of KDEPIM/PI: http://scm.klever.net/view/cgit/patchwork/kdepimpi.git The KDEPIM/PI author, Lutz Rogowski, said that this port is useless to him, because it's not compileable anymore under qt2 and qt3, but that may be irrelevant for us maybe?

    XFCE configuration for .next

Configbutton is one of the most useful things on the panel, IMO. Quick access to a lot of useful stuff. The only even better and faster way (but that only works well for pure toggles) is to assign a keyboard shortcut, e.g. for enabling / disabling WiFi.  I'd like to understand: Why do some...

Keyboard light enabler is almost ready. Q: What can go into the firmware, what to put into PND?

A question to those people here, who are responsible to decide what to put into the official firmware:   My keyboard light enabler plugin for configbutton and the scripts around it are ready and work well. Before I create a PND:  Besides the actual configbutton plugin, there are two scripts...

    XFCE configuration for .next

ah, you mean the configbutton.  /usr/bin/configbutton The Plugin I'd write is meant for that configbutton. If you want to get rid of it, I should immediately stop writing a Plugin for you ;-) It kind of works already... a little bit.

    XFCE configuration for .next

In .next's XFCE you have that Launcher Plugin. Seems to be a very good solution. My example config contains one, listing some important programs. After I finished my keyboard light Plugin a few days ago, I indeed tried to continue to write the launcher Plugin I wanted to write for you. But this...

I suspect the OS upgrader is not the only program that uses gksu / gksudo. There are more PNDs relying on its availability. If gksu / gksudo is too much of a problem, maybe there is another graphical solution, that can be compiled and then linked to gksu / gksudo? For example, there is...

    XFCE configuration for .next

Damned, and my psychology studies did not make me able to place such influencing stuff hidden well enough so you don't notice it. ;-) Seriously: I didn't study psychology in university, but I had more than enough opportunity (and need, unfortunately) to study such subconscious influences in my...

    XFCE configuration for .next

oh, this is a good idea: I also had the panel on the right for some time, which was quite good IMO, but not as good as having it on the top. Everything was reachable with the stylus very well. But some widgets on the pandel didn't display nicely, e.g. the clock. Hence I dropped that idea again...

    XFCE configuration for .next

Hi guys, after I spammed the current test image thread with the discussion about the XFCE configuration / panel layout for .next (sorry for that), I'd now like to continue the discussion over here. The poll should give a general image of the tendency, as my suggested configuration raised some...
