Something like that is good if you really wanna get all you can out of it. Mine came with XP but I changed it to Xubuntu. Worked better than I thought it would.
I miss them eeePc's I got one from 2008 but the screen is broken. Worked all the way up to 2015 with a light Linux distro. Fantastic series of computers.
I think that for people who don't have large SD cards already it's a bummer to have to buy them with the Pyra. More fun to get it and be able to play right away if you don't have SD cards ready. That can be a reason to go for 32GB of internal storage, especially if it's not that much more expensive.
Fantastic update ED! The keyboard looks fantastic, I also noticed you raised the action buttons like you said you would :) I think 16gb emmc would be fantastic but 8 is also acceptable.
A nice review of the Jaguar. For some reason the system always interests me, I really want one some day.
I think when it comes to pushing the Jaguar to it's limit the games Zero 5 and Skyhammer are the once to do it. They look really good. The Jaguar was really good at getting good performance...
I don't mind the extra size and weigh, I have a purse with me so I keep my devices there. Sad to hear about the screen. But happy to see the device coming along so fast. When do you think you will have the upper case part?
I would not mind a lower battery life for more ram. What is required in ram is growing at quite a rate so it would be nice to be a bit more future proof in the memory department. None the less the Pyra looks amazing either way.
So weird seeing that blank space in the middle. I want to stick a Jaguar keypad in there just to fill it in xD
Oh btw just saw a link in the comments of the artical. it's a video showing a keyboard concept for it
