I've been using windows 10 since day 1 and I haven't had any issues, I also think it's an excellent OS for Devs especially with linux subsystem for windows.
I think Microsoft is after the cloud space now anyway rather than desktop share and so wants to make windows 10 really good for developers.
Don't know if it's already been answered but what if you have an app that depends on a older version of an engine? Mono or java or some game engine.
Will you end up with multiple versions of the engine installed to satisfy each dependency from an application or will your app try and use the...
C# is where it's at :) such a mature language and the cross platform open source story is almost complete. By the time the pyra is out it should just be a case of apt-get install dotnet.
Why has this thread become a m$ hate fest? I think windows 10 is pretty neat so far, if people are lazy, unwilling or scared to update (for free) or prefer linux based OS that's cool but no need for all the hate.
Windows OS will take as much free ram as possible and when u need it, it will relinquish it and let u have it, it's better for your RAM to actually be in use than it is not in use.
