If you develop consumer electronics it's always a risk versus reward thing ... rushing is bad and over engineering is known to happen too, good arguments all around here
However as ED carries all the risks he is the one who has to be comfortable ... his risk, his choice and everyone else...

The normal people are always those who suffer but the problem lies with the different economics and mentalities of countries (heck even local regions in germany) ... countries (and peoples) are wildly different and pressing them all into the same frame will break something - normally the peoples...

still fondly remember my TP 600 ... but that pricetag is way too high for my nostalgia
MMS never really took hold in germany, last time I checked sending a single MMS would cost me 0,39€ and thats with a quite expensive package already... mobile prices in Germany are crazy
wow thats turning into quite the soap opera :confused: I would like the tiny C64 because its nice for a quick dose of nostalgia and a cute show piece ;) ... so far very not impressed how they handle everything though
The Ultima-C64 looks way more tempting to me right now ... even tough I might...
I would switch to 2GB and just buy the 4GB CPU board when it becomes available as I think it is important to keep things going forward before too many people get impatient.
When the motherboard gets released I can always find some use for it ;)
Some of the development I do eats ram like popcorn...
