    Raspberry Pi as ftp server?

Access to files should be fine but if you mean to stream media from it I doubt the rPi could keep up.  I talked to and did simple data transfer to and from my rPi and Pandora between Tokyo, Japan and Chicago,IL.

    128 gb sdxc card

The Sandisk Extreme 128gb SDXC Class 10? I'd be willing to test it.  I also trust Sandisk integrity over other SD manufactures. Meaning, I could re-purpose one of my 64gb cards and was thinking about one of these anyway.  Guess I'll order one and then test it out.

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

Very helpful indeed.  I just came back to this post after doing nearly the exact same thing on my own.  I tried with the Pandora_D001.img.gz that you describe for use in the right slot and boot from the left with fat32 boot files.  gzipped the img and did a sudo dd just the same way.  Resulted...

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

I update pretty regularly and I checked anyhow, this change is in my op_storage.sh already.  I'm booting from the left card again now with the new beagleboard rom.  Back to SDFS::1.$  Disc not understood - has it been formatted?   I put the !SDCreate tools on the left card but I don't know how...

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

Tried all day to write images to what has turned into stacks of my SD cards and with no success.  When I use my pc with USbit with any img, imz, img.gz type file to write to a card in the pandora through SD Mass Storage the master blocks get wacked and I have to format the card in my camera to get...

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

Well, the live image burned successfully with USBit.  I safely ejected the card and quit SD Mass Storage (using the Pandora as card reader). SD storage however did not show a device when I returned 'ok.'   I thought maybe it was the image having a different filesystem and rebooted.  Angstrom...

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

I've got some new supposedly compatible sd cards in now. What is the best method to prepare my cards for the first time?

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

I think I have incompatible sd cards.  I'm getting the error message from RISC OS from properly burned (no errors) images to SD cards, boot left and large image right.  I'm ordering some new SD cards now with my Amazon cat food order...  I'll see if I can work this out.  I get it running but...

    XFCE Pandora logo

@cube48:  Great work, thanks! I'm getting to this with only minutes to spare before I need to work.  Maybe when I get back there will be some information here about using a png or jpg sequence for any of the splash screens?  I have a lot of timelapse and other odd animations that I would like...

    XFCE Pandora logo

Hey, is there a way to change the XFCE Pandora boot up logo?  Like, something that fills the whole screen?

[Application] RISC OS on the Pandora

Ok, I have now burned two 2GB and one 4GB SD cards with the images for the right side card and get "Disc not Understood - Has it been formatted?" after formatting through Pandora as mass storage and through a card reader (FAT and FAT32)  I've read this thread from start to finish, I must be...

    Kickstarter for TV out Cables

Arduino and rPi user here.  I wonder if the gpio should be it's own breakout.  A nice sturdy pin platform, like you said, could be used to jumper to an Arduino shield.  I don't think I would want a cable made for a TV out demand; with gpio just tossed in as an extra bit.  Rather than one bulky...

    Wakeup problems

After upgrading to the latest 1.54rc my pandi seems to be falling out of suspend.  ie. It turns the screen on when opened now and that never happened before (when not plugged in).  The biggest problem with this is that none of the buttons do anything when it comes up like this.  No pandora...

    New Shoulder Button Idea...

If the ICP2 is truly the primordial soup of the Pandora 2 input than every indication is that it will also only carry two shoulder buttons. I still very much like the idea of having the pads available for hacking as opposed to adding to case manufacturing costs.

Upgrades, a compo and a special game (2012-11-28)

That's exactly what I was thinking. The only problem being that I have never made it past wave 9, or is it 10? Time to play some more Robotron. Hey, I finally got CS4 reinstalled and working properly. I will have a nice timelapse surprise for the boards very soon :)

Lines in a Movie that crack you up..? (no matter how many times you hear them)

On vacation in Aruba at the moment and I have filled much of my time annoying my wife with film quotes, of which I know many. The fantastic staff at Bucuti are constantly asking how you´re feeling. So, my favorite quote at the moment is from Beerfest. "Good enough to Fuck your mother!"

How many is too much: Dead Pixels / Wonky Left Nub

I did actually attach the photos for you to zoom in upon in whichever manner you choose and gave what I thought to be an accurate description on where to look for said stuck pixels. Please let me know if the attachments only show up to me for some reason. Yes, I took some liberty with the...

How many is too much: Dead Pixels / Wonky Left Nub

How do I post photos to the forum? Legally blind people are telling me that even they cannot see the very obvious stuck pixels, that I circled in red. Only the login photo is ambiguous and I realize I should have omitted that one for your sake. I have attached the untouched photos here. If...
