sorry im not getting emails on replies to the thread and didnt check till now. You can find the SDK here:

Ive had to tweak things, i.e. paths to where i put the SDK.
Last game i had running and perfectly was VVVVVV.
i dont think this is any...
i wanted to run sigil but chocolate doom wont run it, so i built gzdoom. Its runs but some wads are not stable, but it does work in gles 2.0 mode which looks good. It crashes on the doom1 wad pretty quickly. Doom 2 runs better.
so change of pace I built chocolate doom which ive paired with my launcher. My launcher was designed to use SDL 1.2 software renderer and only update area's of the screen as things needed to be drawn. So it basically was at zero cpu when nothing was changing. The SDL 1.2 was just a blank screen...
ive made some good progress.
Quake 2 is running quite nice with the GLES3 video plugin. Software mode also works. The GL 1.4 (GL4ES) is crashing, i dont know if its worth investigating, the GLES3 is nice.
I also figured out a feature to combine glBegin/glEnd in GL4ES was the cause for the...
so i was able to get quake 1 to run and its a perfect 60 fps, very smooth looking. Only problem i cant get in game it segfaults :-P
it plays through all the demos and i can move around the menu. im wondering maybe its 64 bit problem.
yes that is it, and it probably close to the ps vita size.
it emulates up to n64 / psp / dreamcast (but really pushing it). I mainly wanted to use it for snes rpg's with the larger screen. I was also looking a lot at the anbernic models (rg35xx H and SP new clam case)
but the larger screen sold...
Hi I bought one of these handhelds for only $55. Its actually turning out to be a decent and fun device. The device has a cross compiler released, supporting GLES1/2 and Vulkan,
Its using a Allwinner quad core. Based on a clock switch it overclocks to 2 ghz. It has a PowerVR GE8300 for the GPU...
I did some ports for q1 and q2. But i think most of the ports wouldnt be that difficult to get running, im guessing gl4es is already running since pitiseb has had hw for awhile. That would make it even easier to port some engines i.e q2, hexen 2, d1x, d2x.
Im guessing someone will come along...
levi, I was just trying to give a opinion to contribute to the discussion (elw3 was made the same point sbout price per performance). Then i though pitiseb misunderstood what i wrote thinking i was asking what was the point of box86 on arm. Im not trying to put down anything he is working on or...
I understand the technical reasons why you would need box86 and if for some reason arm was only hardware option you had to run x86 stuff on. Id be ore inclined to spend a lost less on a higher performing x86 pc.
has this been the highest performing arm device youve played on?
maybe it would be useful as a compile server, but it does seems strange to spend more for arm to then simulate x86 apps. You could probably buy (or get for free) even an older x86 machine at a much lower price.
@ptitSeb are you using the multi core in box86 or is it single thread?
I dont use the Dosbox EX, but the dosbox that Pitiseb released. So im going off using dosbox direct and not with any special frontends.
If you are getting an cdrom iso from archive org then you need to mount it.
imgmount D <path to iso> -t iso
mount C <your dosroot path>
search the D: for...
I do help Kojote when asked to work on ports. Mainly the older GPH devices and pandora.
But i dont have a Prya and to be honest I dont know if im really going to afford right now to get one.
