They are not scanlines that's for sure as I get those and like them, but these are like ripples of water, is it interlacing? I do not know as I am not very technical about screens.
When using my gp2x F100 MK1 unit, I see wavy lines running diagonally across the screen. It doesn't affect the gameplay when using emulators but is very noticeable on option and menu screens. What can be the problem? Is this normal on F100 mark 1 units? I'm using firmware 2.1.2.
Thanks for the reply foleyjo, glad to hear that, Bubble Bobble is one of the best arcade conversions on C64. Gnostic did say he will look at SID code and hopefully these skipping/pausing issues using real SID can be sorted on all games. Maybe on the new Vice 2.1, Gnostic?
If anyone has played them, how do the following games run: Gauntlet, bubble bobble, Great giana sisters and California games?
Are these full speed with sound with no problems or do any of them suffer from the same out of sync sound with action and pausing/skipping issues like those games...
Many of the members who made the GP2X scene such a good one in the two years 2006-2007 might come back to to support the wiz. Where have they gone? Many don't seem to have bought a pandora as most of the people who post in that forum are new to the community, who joined the community this year...
Are all the Atari 68000 games full speed, 0 frameskip with sound now? Do you need to overclock? I'm especially interested in Gauntlet as it is my favourite arcade game.
I'm having problems. I unzipped the latest Gmenu2x and copied files to my SD card. On boot up it just goes to a black screen. I've also used the older 0.9 version and am getting the same. I've got a F100 mk 1 with firmware 2.1.2. What am I doing wrong?
I want to use the Amstrad CPC emu, Caprice2x. How do I overclock in the latest WIP7 version? In the menu it says Gp2x fake 200Mhz, but it doesn't overclock. Anyone whose used this emu help? What does the "fake" mean?
Can't overclock the emu. It's set at 200Mhz in the menu but I can't change the clock speed. anyone help?
btw what does "fake" mean?
CPC was my first computer, really enjoyed the games on it. Hope KaosOverride updates this emu someday.
To those selling GP2X for a Wiz. You might not like it. I'd wait till its released and then decide.GP2X has some great emu's and dedication from devs. Too good to sell. That's my opinion anyway.
There may be devs who favour one platform over another but that doesn't mean they won't develop for the other one. A good example is zx-81. He favours the psp over the GP2X but still ports his excellent emus to GP2X and updates them as well
