The plausibility of an E-Ink Display

None of those are display interfaces per se. There is I²C available inside the lid. I²C is unsuitable for anything but low-resolution displays that are updated infrequently.

What needs to be done before a Pyra prototype can be produced?

I run out of RAM all the time on my laptop with 4 GB of RAM. I keep a view up of current RAM and swap usage visible at all times so that I can close shit before the OOM killer gets to it :v

    Release Tagaini Jisho

Yeah, I did that an hour later, realized I have an SD card permanently mounted as my /home. And then I remembered that I got probably 20 GB worth of applications installed to "/" on my laptop that way...

    Release Tagaini Jisho

It appears to be a font issue. Pasting an affected string into abiword shows the same missing glyph, but the others are there.

    Release Tagaini Jisho

The font is missing some glyphs, (for example, search for tomodachi and the entry for "Operation Tomodachi" will not render a very common glyph for "war". Does show up in the stroke order dialog though, and doesn't seem super-common, so it's not a major problem. Other than that, it appears to...

    DBP repository

I'd say a manual language selection override should be a mandatory feature if it tries to be clever, just like with mobile/desktop websites. I personally follow quite complicated rules whether I want to see pages in swedish or english.

    The Pandora Port Request Thread

My patience ran out for it myself. Looks like a fairly standard qt 4/sqlite Tagaini Jisho would be nice: https://github.com/Gnurou/tagainijisho/releases/download/1.0.3/tagainijisho-1.0.3.tar.gz

How easy would it be to get xmonad up and running on a Pyra?

You probably won't need the .desktop mode. For the .desktop launchers in a package to do anything, it has to be in path anyway.

The following is based on a true story.

And it happened a month or two after ED saying something along the lines "everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. We should be fine from now on, unless there's a volcano or something"

I like how the case company claimed all the cases were crushed. A year or two ago, they were hyping how indescrutible the plastic is, weren't they?

    Specific Absorption Rate?

A professor at my university did a thesis on this subject eons ago, regarding on what effects low energy RF has on humans or life in general. Basically, we don't know "you're all guinea pigs". I'm not too concerned, I'll mostly keep it near large hunks of flesh with lots of mass to absorb the...
