As of now, as Linux-SWAT noted above only github sources are taken down and original ytdl website is up. I am not sure how devs will move from hereon. Probably they will keep developing and providing ytdl outside the reach of DMCA.
On my manjaro laptop, ytdl is still working, but it may break...
This means a user, can only watch YouTube video with inbuilt ads using browser as intended by google.
With same logic we may soon see ublock/adblock and friends taken down.
mpv can do that
Just put "save-position-on-quit" in .config/mpv/mpv.conf
I use lizzy as browser and playlist manager with mpv to play my music. It is just single executable file written in bash, no dependencies.
Raspbian is Debian arm modified to run on raspberry pi. Default pyra os is also modified Debian arm.
I don't see any logical reason to run raspbian on pyra.
Pyra has only one micro USB3 port, so you can copy to and from pyra at USB3 speed using otg cable, but copying between two pen drives with one connected at USB 2 port will be slower.
