    Finalizing everything!

The SoC simply does not support two USB3 Ports. The one channel available is used for the OTG port which offers more flexibility. So the blue port is considered to be a future proof usb3-ready port for when an upgrade board that support it may come out.

    Finalizing everything!

@Djoga'Ro I'm not talking about the customer's side, but about ED's side. And it's not about the number of prices, but about choosing the appropriate one. See bugs and calculations thread, though here you probably won't have that much MOQ trouble, depending on the minimal production runs at...

    Finalizing everything!

Keep in mind that this will not only complicate the ordering process, but also the price calculations - no matter if you are selling 6 device types or offer the boards separately, calculate different prices for a device/board and another mainly identical one just with more ram, would be tricky.

Welcome to the boards! Take a look at the trading section, if you are lucky, this unit is not sold out yet.

    Finalizing everything!

No I don't, one of the reasons I'm waiting for the pyra :) just assumed it would have a rectangular base to and with all the joystick like devices I used spinning normally equals moving them in circles. sorry for that misconception. But as you say, that still won't rotate the nubs themselves...

    Finalizing everything!

I don't think you are spinning them in a way that could destroy them, you don't rotate the disk (and pegs underneath) themselves, but move them around in circles, don't you? The latter is normal use, the former would lead to destruction in most joysicks. Wouldn't be different if you try to...

    Finalizing everything!

Yes, it's the international price. So within the EU the final price will be about 19% more (german VAT)

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

So something like this? (aspect ratio about the same as the pyra) If the angles would be flatter (like in your car picture), it could easily either get sharp or would waste space, if you add more edges, it might look rounded again

    Bugs and Calculations

I knew someone would say that :D However, different shaped vent holes are hard to explain. Plus you would have to decide between better cooling and more features ;)

    Bugs and Calculations

Removing external slots will require case changes or you would have "strange" holes in the case, so I don't think think that would be feasible. Please not, by doing this we would enter the realm of antifeatures.

    Bugs and Calculations

I hope you will make it, the timing would be just perfect because of the convention where you will be the day before. So it will be a perfect promotion. With a thinklight instead, why not? okay, the opening angle would be a bit too wide for that ;) Not sure, I guess most of the times I won't...

    Bugs and Calculations

Maybe this perspective would help: There are at least 2 thresholds to determine the mass productions. 1: mass production threshold: Enough preorders to start the mass production at all. Will only guarantee the production of as many units as preorders. There might be additional units in the...

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

I guess his point simply is that many users are not aware of that fact and think that if a cpu gets too hot that would be a hardware issue that shouldn't solved in software. At least that's how I understand his postings.

Is it All over? Has someOne lost it completely?

You mean the Halls of Mandos, which is afair the only place human will ever see from valinor. And its only a rest stop after their death, afterwards they will leave the world completly. Being able to freely roam in Valinor after their Death-rest in the Halls (and before, if they wish) is an...

Cellular Discussion [Split from] Bugs and Calculations

Well, you could use something heavy like jackd, if you dislike pulseaudio that much. But sounds (pun intended) like overkill to me. And it would require more work with bridges for applications that don't support jack directly.

[Linux] What SIGNAL is associated to a CTRL+ combination ??? (SOLVED)

So it seems to be hardcoded and you may have to recompile your libc6 wich would be overkill. If really needed, It should be easier to turn off job control in bash.

[Linux] What SIGNAL is associated to a CTRL+ combination ??? (SOLVED)

Not sure about swtch, but that seems more of a byproduct to me. But the signal you are searching for CRTL+Z seems to be SIGTSTP, according to the list I linked.

[Linux] What SIGNAL is associated to a CTRL+ combination ??? (SOLVED)

Maybe this might be helpful? http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/manual/html_node/Termination-Signals.html And here is a list of characters that cause signals: http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/manual/html_node/Signal-Characters.html#Signal-Characters

I am very confused about the whole "allowance" thing. In the US, do you have to go to your carrier with your device, let them approve it and only then will they unlock the sim to work with the IMEI?? If not, how will they even know what device are you using? Of course it is needed that your...
