    Preventing More Delays (sd License)

At least I know this is 100% false, SDcard.org lawyers will send nice letter barring any device sales if the device has a SD slot that uses the SDIO protocol without an license, Logo or Not.

    Preventing More Delays (sd License)

You all have good points, I think I need to send them an email on this to see if they need to refund my money then.

    Preventing More Delays (sd License)

I like to not see any more delays due to business decision of skipping steps. Pandora will have to get an SD License, because it uses SD 4bit mode. I've had to deal with SD before, and there is no way for them to avoid it (unless they use dataflash MMC cards.) sdcard.org could cause Pandora...

World Of Goo Linux Version Available

"do you not think i realised that, plus i already knew the SUSPECTED piracy rate of world of goo" You previous comment of 4000 pandora = 4000 sales, says you didn't realize that.

World Of Goo Linux Version Available

Actually you make a good point, they might need more testing units for multiplayer. I forgot about that part, as I only played the single player part. In most all development teams\group, there is a person\team that does dev, and a tester\team that does test, thus why I think they would need...

World Of Goo Linux Version Available

Loved World of Goo, great game. But from a business perspective, with only a limited number of Pandoras to ship, I really don't see them motivated to port it.

    Sd Slot Speeds.

Does anyone know if the SD slots are going to be using SPI or the SDIO protocol (4-bit or higher)? If it's using SPI, speeds might be limited to a fraction of full SDIO speeds, i.e. longer wait times when reading/writing. If SDIO have they obtained SD Org licensing yet? Will we have to wait...

Wifi, Bt, Sd1 And Sd2 Activity Logos ?

If I remember right, if the SD slot ends up using the SDIO protocol (4-bit and higher) Logo or not you will need to get an license. But if you use MMC/SPI only then it's ok as SPI/MMC has open spec protocol (i.e. Dataflash), but it's going to communicate run a lot slower than SDIO...

    So Many Questions...

Just look at the smaller external USB drive(s) at bestbuy, most of them will work at about 500mA. Devices should not try to draw more then 500ma per port (in USB spec), but often it's ignored.

Is Multiplayer Possible On The Pandora?

Well if Pandora run linux, and has linux drivers for the wifi hardware, then yes multilayer will possible as long as then the game would have to take advantage of it.

Why I Will Not Be Getting A Pandora Now...

Palm Pre. And two pre-production units that my work have in possession. Believe me these devices will hit the market at the right time. Also, I did lose out with conversion... The money that was put back into my account was less than what I gave for pre-orders... SO figure that out. I will...

    Wondering About Delays?

Hi Marko, I think you assume to much, I've been reading up on these forums back since late Sept, just because I didn't post anything doesn't mean I don't know whats going on. I'm here because I'm a customer, and genuinely interested in the Pandora, I have business experience in the area of...
