I have two things. When trying Bluetooth with toggle it always says "enabling.. " also the
LED is not going off and after a reboot the LED is on from the start. Whats that?
2. I have a controller board with a CP2102 USB/serial interface that does not connect
(no "connect as /dev/ttyUSB0 ")...
Some good news. I found the missing path. So you have to add ~/avr/avr/include to the
PATH too and all is working. Another one is the freeze problem. Maybe this is because of the Open Java I am using as other Java programs like MediathekView and TVBrowser are two programs sometimes I have to...
I checked permissions of /dev/ttyO1 which is owned by root an rw by group dialout (thats why dialout group!) but as written, when I set user to dialout the system seems to hang when using Arduino menu. I set /dev/ttyO1 rw for all and now it shows up in serial ports in the IDE but it says "error...
Arduino geht jetzt auch in Slackware. Siehe englisches Forum
https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/threads/slackware-for-pandora-14-1.73578/page-16
Bei Interesse kann ich es noch übersetzen.
Super.
Thanks for the tip.
I found a way to run the Arduino IDE 1.0.4 (pnd is not running directly). Not from sbopkg - this makes errors at install (no ARM version).
But it is not perfect.
How to run Arduino IDE in Slackware
Java is needed, so install it.
Use a hub or the OTG port as its USB...
I found the dir /var/lib/sbopkg/SBo/14.1/ where the info is stored, so I can look in the repo while sbopkg is doing a install. Because sbopkg can only be started one time and some install needs a long time I want to check for other programs while it is doing a install job.
You are right, MeTV is no longer working since SZ 1.7x so you have to use other programs. As I am using Slackware that doesn't support MeTV I mostly use SMPlayer
or Kaffeine (has EPG). A tool called w_scan searches for the channels and makes the config files for most of the programs.
the Hauppauge stick is working for me very fine with MeTV in SZ. You just have to do a channel search; no conf needed. In Slackware I use Kaffeine (KDE needed) or mplayer/SMPlayer. For the magnetic antenna I use an iron pill/cookie box which gives better reception.
I did no changes to the Pandora key. One question to sbopkg : when installing software there is no access to the database. Or is there a file I can check without sbopkg. Man page says there are 145 MB of data. Where is that stored ?
I found another audio player that seems preinstalled - moc...
To the mentioned gksu command while installing software with sbopkg I have some info.
After installing gst-plugins from source I got 3x gksu when doing a make. So its the make process
that starts it (and so in sbopkg when installing). So if you install some software check with top and when it...
@LinuxSWAT : thanks for the tip with ln -s. After reinstalling Calibre I got an error of file is no link. Maybe this was because I tried something with it. After resetting the link Calibre is working now.
Yippieh ! Now trying gstreamer.
On sbopkg I found gmusicbrowser but no GMU Player maybe its the same. It works so far but the dependency glib gives an error when trying to download - 404 not found. When checking , there was no glib 1.307 so I installed 1.308 manually and it worked. Maybe you try this one.
I guess this gksu comes from the build/install process. But it is just a bit annoying and I check in top for it so I can kill it.
But I have a bigger problem : When installing gstreamer1 and plugins with sbopkg a lot of programs were working like exaile, clementine, radiotray or kradio. Then I...
I do so. First su - then sbopkg. At start there is no gksu in top, it comes later as described above.
Can I just kill it ? There seems no problem, just the build process is faster.
Edit : right now it happened again when installing gstreamer with sbopkg I get 2 commands gksu each using about...
@ekianjo: the original gstreamer is ver 1.2.0 so you have to install version 1.4.5 from sbopkg with all the dependencies. When I did this a lot of programs suddenly started and worked.
Then I tried something and removed it again and they no more worked. After reinstalling it I have a
problem...
I have a question @ Linux-SWAT :
In the last days I installed a lot via sbopkg and I found something strange. When installing some progs and going back again to install more without exiting before I see sometimes in top a command (or two) gksu that uses about 95% cpu so for the install I have...
Calibre is now working (had some missing dependencies).
Audacious is working fine and Clementine too. Even JuK from KDE. Musique has no sound. Maybe you have some missing dependencies.I had some problems before with Totem Player, Dolphin Player and some music plyaer too. But after installing...
@ekianjo : two more players are pogo which is just playing files and exaile which has a nice interface (try pnd in SZ to see if its ok for you) and also plays internetradio.
At the momemt I am fighting with Clementine (resp. protobuf that is needed) which is a kind of Amarok player. How did you...
