    they are WD red NAS drives. had very little use and all passed SMART testing..... i have several offline backups of the stuff i cant replace like photos etc as well as backups at family members houses 50 Kms away from me.

    now thats an interesting read. a year of testing and 4000 cycles and the monoclinic gamma sulfur was still stable. sounds like it is close to commercial use once they figure out how it happened..lol
