Any idea how much faster the Pyra GPU is than the pi3's Videocore IV?

There is some speculation that Mednafen / Retroarch etc do not work on the Droid 4 because the powervr does not support non-power-of-two textures, but it's little more than that. The irclogs have some discussion on it.
I haven't found graphical hangups in any other...
The videos both contain two samples of a song. One sample has a low pass filter applied which removes the high frequencies.
The test is to determine which of the two samples (first or second) is lacking the high frequency audio content.
If you can't hear the difference in both, it's not...
This is a huge emulator on the Pandora for me at least. It's pushing the Pandora to the limits - and yet some RPGs run beautifully. And having these is nicer than just having the PS1 and SNES RPGs.
Gaming controls? Do you not have a phone with a hardware keyboard? :) It does suffice for rpgs. Cross-platform Emulators are a real nice way to get a feel for the performance of a device, which is why they are one of the first things I test with.
