There is still no known virus for linux/arm, so there is no antivirus available nor usefull :)

Oh suhweet I hope a terrorist doesn't read this thread tho lol maybe we should delete it and forget I ever posted it haha

Reflash the firmware. It takes, what, 2 minutes? You lose custom settings like background and theme, and right now bigger things like contact lists in Pidgin, and once it fully goes PND that won't be a problem. Perhaps a backup script which records some of these things can be created so you can just restore such configurations after a reflash.

In the interest of answering the question, at some point in time I'm going to compile ClamAV, an open source anti virus. There are no known viruses for ARM Linux yet, but the Pandora can still act as a carrier, and my office requires an active anti virus in order to connect to their network for exactly that reason.

Ooh this fun looks also ok third lights through keys or not cuz there's also dark some lol times haha

Really??? I'm the only person who had a brain meltdown trying to decipher the first post?

Apparently? Wasn't perfect, but I understood what he said: "Pandora is a gaming system first, but it's also a computer. Does it have an antivirus like Norton? I am an inexperienced user so I don't know these things, hahaha. It would be a very bad thing if something were to infect the Pandora and cause it to crash. It would make me sad."

Does wizardry give you also translation power Stan ?

My bad guys I'm doing all this from my iPhone as it's my only source of Internet right now.

Actually, and highly unfortunately, "my bad" has become an idiom in much of North America among the youth to mean "I'm sorry, I seem to have made a mistake".

Punk kids with their hip hop and be-bop...

Well I guess it's a good thing I hate hip hop as I think it takes no musical talent. I play guitar and am a metal junkie, well my death core anyway. But, I do like me some dubstep. Thanks uk!!!!! I guess that my grammar and punctuation is somewhat relevant to this thread though...... Viral to north Americas youth I guess. Is it bad that I live in this country and agree with the rest of the world that were a bunch of fat, lazy, instigators with a love of violence and a low respect for education? That doesn't apply to everyone though but I would say the majority..... Depressing to think I actually fought for this country oh well proud to be an American still

It's not hip hop...It's Electro...

I think I first heard it on Waynes World, which would be a pretty long way away from Electro, but I guess that's the way of cultural memes.

That makes no sense. Do you run AV on your USB hard disc? But I'm not going to fight the good fight with your IT department, so good luck in your quest.

Indirectly, yes. You can't just plug a USB hard drive directly into the network, it needs to go through a PC, and that PC must be running anti virus in order to be connected to the network.
