I found a topic about this over at Dingoonity. Here's some more info, http://obscurehandhelds.wordpress.com/2011/04/03/sony-ngp-already-knocked-off-but-in-a-mildly-interesting-way/ and the forums at CnGBA have a bunch of topics about it already, http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cngba.com%2Fforum-1400-1.html

Supposedly runs Android, has a 1GHZ processor(probably Cortex A8) and may have a capacitive OLED screen.
It's obviously modeled after Sony's NGP but that's not surprising.

Rumored specs:
5-inch 800 X 480 OLED screen
Front and rear capacitive touch functions
ARM Cortex A8 Core
Front and rear lens equipped with dual analog joystick support
Microphone
Support for 3G
Support Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
Support WIFI 802.11b/g/n
Support GPS
Support for 6-axis electronic compass sensor with the new game storage device (TF memory card)
Colors: black, white, pink

Sorry, I would have uploaded a pic but my Photobucket account isn't working right for some reason. Both links do have pics though.
If someone can post a pic of it here that would be cool!

Too bad it is android, it will slow demanding apps to a crawl.

Why is it that so many of these things have to look like a PSP? It is so weird. It is like the Chinese gadget makers have PSP envy or something.

Even if it runs Android, its still quite possible to get good performance out of an Android environment if you need it. The NDK means you can pretty much port any C/C++ app to Android and expect decent results ..

Before anyone gets too excited, it definitely doesn't have a quad-core (or dual-core for that matter) Cortex-A8.

Yeah, I thought about removing that quad-core thing but I decided to leave it the way I found it. It's removed now though as these aren't official specs anyway.

I wonder what the cost is. If it is the typical Dingoo style device I would bet pretty cheap. That would rule out OLED too as those screens are pretty expensive.

if it runs android and has the 1ghz cortex A8 processor AND (and that's a big and) is at the dingoo price range, then i am DEFINITELY interested!

Why do you say Android will slow apps to a crawl DaveC? Genuine question not having a go, it just seems to me that emulation of N64 and PSX is more advanced on Android than on pandora for devices with similar specs (even some with lower), even with the overhead.

If anything Android will be a blessing to handhelds like this, already a massive user base so you're guaranteed good dev support.

And I wouldn't trust specs from random Chinese manufacturers;
