Is it possible to use the Pandora to control you're computer at home over Wifi? I know this defeats the purpose of having a all in one desktop tiny computer but still.

Don't talk the idea down: The typical people spending this much on a portable computer already have desktops, laptops media servers...

I may be one of the few people crazy enough to try to do everything with a Pandora and only a Pandora.

Not really, it means that I can do things like compile software on my powerful desktop downstairs, while I sit upstairs or on the deck. Using the powerful computer without having to put up with the sweltering heat during the summer.

And I'm sure that somebody will set something up, there's a significant number of software packages that can do it. What I'd like to know is if anybody's going to set up the process in reverse, so that they can control their Pandora from their desktop.

Im 100% sure that out of the box you can use ssh and telnet so you can definitely link in to another box and use it.
May not be all GUI and pretty but works just fine.

Remote desktop under Windows uses a protocol called RDP and the Linux program available for that is rdesktop and to my surprise if you type that into a terminal window up pops the command summary. I'm unable to test it here but it's there for anyone that can.

Well I don't expect this to do anything like play video games or movies, I have seen videos of other devices doing this and the result is less than satisfactory. But I'm almost certain doing things like 3D modeling in a view port might be possible since there is not a lot of pixels being sent there where as a video game has tons of pixels being sent frame by frame.
Man using the Pandora touchscreen to affect a view port in a 3D modeling program over wifi would be win.
