I'm guessing he got busy with "real life"! :p

Chris
That's assuming people here really have a life. I doubt it.
I'm sure you didn't mean that as an insult, but it kind of sounds like one. Careful with that. ;)

As far as I know, Adventus is doing some fairly serious stuff at university and possibly has bigger fish to fry than homebrew. A few weeks without progress is no cause for panic. :)

A few weeks without progress isn't what bothers me; It's a few weeks without communication.

I bring you... a new build!
Compiled from Ari64's latest sources, PND'd up, and using the same pxml and run script as the old PND.
http://www.fragmentedforce.com/pandora/mupen64plus-new.pnd
Credits to paulguy for compiling it, and to me for PNDing it up and providing him with my edited source (OpenGL removed and makefile slightly altered)
I also included a freebie - cheats for almost every game, including the subscreen delay fix for Zelda OoT so it doesn't delay for several seconds every time you press start :)
Notaz audio is included.
No new gles2n64 plugin, as Adventus hasn't had the chance to update it after he got Pandora problems and went AWOL :p

Awesome stuff jdbye!

Does this release contain the dpad plugin (to use the dpad over the analogue, useful for us one nubbers :) )

It doesn't start on my Pandora. I deleted the old pnd and the appdata dir bevor running.

When I try it, the sd-light flashes a bit and then: nothing.

Hm, works fine here. Do you happen to have the old PND as well on the card maybe?

No, I deleted the previous pnd and appdata folder.
The Output in the out.txt is:
Code:
Could not locate valid install directory

Edit: Redownloaded 3 times with different browsers, same result, tried on other sd-card, same result...

I tried this new version, and it seems to work fine!

I thought the OoT start up crash had been fixed, but once I input my name and start, it crashes like before. Am I missing something?

The Dir is there. And in it is the out.txt

No errors here, but the window is only a quarter of the screen, lower left quadrant. It seemed to run much faster at least, though that could have been a result of it only being 1/4 the old size. Or maybe not.
I'll need to muck with the settings a bit, maybe just erase them completely and start from scratch, but otherwise good job!

Not sure why it isn't working properly for everyone, it worked for both me and paulguy. Is mupen64plus.conf in the appdata/config directory?
If it's missing, it'll complain about not being able to find the install directory, but the run script is supposed to take care of copying mupen64plus.conf to appdata, I just reused the old run script.
Edit: Just a silly mistake I made, fixed pnd will be up soon.
Edit2: Link updated: http://www.fragmentedforce.com/pandora/mupen64plus-new.pnd
It should work properly now (though I have no idea what's causing WizardStan's issue - might be incompatible versions of libraries?)

That's in the gles2n64 plugin, and Adventus hasn't had the chance to fix it yet since he got Pandora problems.

I assume that's Blight Input? If so then yes.

Thanks Jdbye!

I knew I had read that info somewhere, but since Adventus hasn't checked in for awhile, I forgot where I had originally read it.

Are there any forseeable updates being planned for this beloved emulator?
Beyond the bugfixes that I just posted, I have no updates planned for the dynamic recompiler. Every game that I've tested that worked on the old x86 version works on ARM.

At some point I will probably look into merging the dynarec with 1.99.3. I haven't done anything on that yet, so if someone else wants to try it then go ahead.

I don't know if Adventus has anything planned for gles2n64. It's hard for me to test that code with my current setup, so I'm not working on it right now.
