quick one - I got mine!!!

haven't had a chance to play really as I had to go to my parents as my bro (Sakerboy in case anybody watched)was on Countdown today on tv (and tomorrow as he won!). anyway, it is charging now. I've just transferred a bunch of stuff to the SD card, now gonna go and have a quick play. Really want to check out how good it is to view PDF's/ebooks.

Any criticisms - only two minor ones. the right shoulder button is a bit iffy, and the front bezel for the screen seems a tiny bit warped in the middle it's not completely flush in the middle. I don't give a hoot though - I am more than happy in the future to fix these small problems myself. I am sure when I can be bothered I could flex the plastic to fix the screen flush and the shoulder button I'm sure I can fix.

Anyway, happy boy!

PS: the nubs are AMAZING, just wait till you try them :)

I'm excited for you guys! It's great that it's actually getting out in to the community's hands. I can't wait to see what happens with this thing. It's become a bit of an obsession and now I understand some people's comments about how they'll miss the wait. Kind of like postpartum depression. Hah! Anyways, congrats to the OP team and people receiving their precious nerd-device. Let the funs begin. :)

I assume I'm distrusted since I'm probably biased, but ask away :) I can compare and contrast to my prototype and dev pcbs if you like ;)

IF you have any request for videos etc, let me know; I'm surprised others haven't been loading the board up with photos :)

The screen is great; its really slick to finally have a working display :) The wifi works well (something my proto also did not have working.)

The paintjob is nice, though I worry (as with all paint jobs) that it may flake over time; its pretty slick.

I need to work in the keyboard/dpad a little -- its squishy a bit, but I think thats because its never been used, whereas my proto has been beat to hell and back.

More later, real life calls!

I'd kind of like to see what Battle for Wesnoth looks like on the Pandora, if you could do that.

Mind me asking what part of the world you're in? No tracking # here for me to reference, but I did a mock transaction on UPS UK and it shows that my Pandora is guaranteed today. I highly doubt it as I'm in a remote part of the world.

Enjoy and thanks for all the blood, sweat, & tears,

Peace & hashish,

I don't normally 'play', been too busy coding/testing/etc..

.. but I did just get sucked into 20 mins of Time Bandits (ST), and Descent 1 (native port of DOS game, from Pickle.) And testing various video playbacks .. and you know, its not that bad; its software decoded, and we went on about it before, but its still pretty good.

*sleepy*

BTW for all the dutch pandorians did the PSU have a european plug?

I cant stand the wait anymore, I should be 250-350 and I see people with estimates of 400+ already having an email. Normally I am pretty patient but this week is hell.

Where did you see that?

I'm in first 210, and no email yet - hopefully the team have prepared a big batch to go out today, or else it'll be Tuesday before the next batch is delivered (Holiday weekend in UK) - any of the team care to comment on how many/when the next batch is getting shipped?

Yes, euro plug - actually, looks like a phone charger.
