Your mom' statement is EPIC: "A mini computer!"
:D
Haha, how typical, moms all around the world talk exactly like that :D

This should be more ontopic:

My mum had a weird recognition of certain videogame brand names. For example, my N64 was just known as 'The Nintendo' whereas... and I find this incredible... she called my Dreamcast by name! And you thought Sega failed with their branding? Nah.

Well, true story, my mum once saw an advert on TV for "The Best of Reggae" and she said to me, "who's this Reggie bloke?". Honestly!

I'll take a slap, and I'll even leave if they want. Like I said earlier I'm only responding to the fact that I was personally attacked by a bot. A bot that let's others use ridiculously foul language. If they want to single me out and persecute me for it then I'll just leave altogether. Not before reporting every single other post I can find in which someone has used harsh or innapropriate language that's been totally ignored. Look through all my previous posts and you wont ever find me using the extremely colourful language I used earlier simply to illustrate the idiocy of the filtering system.

I appologise sincerely to anyone I offended, but bear in mind I was attacked first, I'm only kicking back, and I applaud the kind people who have responded in the good humour that was always intended in my posts.

In fairness, I'm fairly sure that this place got absolutely swamped by spambots some years ago. I still remember, with great amusement, a GP2X release that ended up being rendered as "Sopwith Moron" after that. I still can't see that kind of plane without mentally referring to it as such.

Perhaps exempting people who have posted numerous times and are clearly not spammers would be appropriate. New users should be given a list of the trigger words that can upset the emotionally unstable bot. Anyway, I'm really surprised this has gone as far as it has. I'm glad it's got some attention cause I was really pissed off by my earlier post being tampered with needlessly. My knee jerk reaction does seem to have gathered some momentum, and I have already twice tried to steer the course of this thread back on to the topic intended. Let's just call and end to this here and now please.

And once again, may I please please see someone running Buzz Aldrins and Star Trek 25th in Dosbox? That would really make my day. :)

^ Anybody else notice how the casing around the LCD bulges at the bottom middle (0:37-0:38)? Also, as seen in the beginning of the video, it looks like there's an unevenness in the gap when closed... :(

Have something positive to say for once, please.

and the pandora fanboy negativity response team springs into action. How about allowing a little reality just for a change.

here here. I am also concerned about the bulge at that point in the video. I trust the fatigue resistance of the chinese plastic more than I trust their time estimates. However, a small bend repeated over time will eventually cause problems.

TitanUranus, fwiw, you might want to post about that spamword annoyance here:
http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/forum/6-suggestions/
At least it will be more prominent there, because there isn't much traffic that will push it off the first page :p

Well here's another shit video from me to get this thread back on topic!

Running at 800mhz with sound on and runs about the same at 500mhz with sound off.

Early days but promising :)

looking great, hope the sound issue will be resolved soon. Strange that the OC doent seem to have affected it tho.

Is it possible to view the framerate?

Really nice video, and good performance :) I'd love to see some web surfing and UMPC action, though. Loading Engadget for example or Open Office. Someone really should port Tear to Pandora, it already flies on the N8x0 tablets.

There is a config file for the N64 emu, you can set frame skip in it, you might want to try it for some extra speed.

Let's hope that OPT's improved testing catches things like the d-pad in future units. A wonky d-pad would be irksome. Hope it breaks in fine, astewardson. Thanks for your fantastic videos!
