How do you get this to work? I followed the instructions to the T, and no dice. I made a cache thing and a folder and everything... It would be great if someone could please write FAQs because for some weird reason me and most of my friends who are savvy about this kind of thing cannot get a thing to work on the wiz...

Please the following help would be sweet

1.) CPS 2 - Not registering
2.) Neo Geo - got bios
3.) MAME - the files work on PC but not wiz?

I got NES, SNES, Genesis, all running fine but... The above will not play anything at all and some in depth help would rule.

for cps 2 use the romcnv tool to convert the roms and add the chache files to the chache folder ,for mame use clrmame pro to convert the roms to the required rom set to play on mame4all use the dat file in the mame for all as the profile for clrmame then convert its not perfect but will work ,make sure the neogoe bios is in the rom folder on mame4all ,hope this helps ,

I made the cache files for a few games on the CPS2 but using the tool to convert them. Now, I can see that get registrered i CPS2 but I can't start them. If start them with the global setting I get the error wrong cache file??? Starting with the local setting, it says that I'm missing the .cfg file for the rom. Now I am confused? :(

Regards

André

you also need the rom files and the cache files in the correct folders so that cps2 emu works as both rom and cache file needs to be in the emulator ,all the cps2 games apart from 1944 should work fine :)

I did that already but still I get the error wrong cache file if I do a global start. Do I need to unzip the roms?

best thing to do is try and reinstall capex cps2 and re covert your roms as mine runs fine all i did was download capex and convert roms on rom converter ,make sure your only adding the files the cps2 emulator needs to run so dont add all the romcnv files just the ones the readme file asks for to be put on the wiz ,just double checked so this is an edit but i think you may have missed moving the cfg file for cps2 emu over to the sd card ,

Use Street Fighter Zero 3 and it will work fine.

well, i couldnt find a SFZ3 rom so i found out to build one from the SFA3 rom except there are a couple different ways to do it for different emulators so i guessed and spliced the Alpha 3 files with the somewhat easy to find mame SFZ3 files and tested. only to realize Zero 3 isnt even listed in the games list. so, something compelled me to try the alpha 2 plus rom (which i dont use) and sure enough, it was zero 3! lol

thank you sir
