I couldn't find this on the FAQs or through searching, soo... What kind of plug/voltage/amperage will the Pandora use? One of the dev videos shows a PSP adaptor being used (4.0mm outside diameter, 1.7mm inside diameter, 9.5mm long, 5V @2A). Is it planned for the same plug to be used as the PSP, or was that just for the prototype?

(curiously enough, while the PSP charger can provide 2A the PSP never draws over 1A from it)

PSP chargers will be compatible with the Pandora.

And you can charge via USB.

A great many devices charge through a standard mini-USB port, so it will probably be possible to charge from many cell-phone chargers that use the USB socket.

I personally have been finding a lot of "Zip Drive" power supplies that supply 5v @ 2A, I just cut the cord and connect to a USB female port (the kind on the front or back of your PC) that I get from the Dollar Store as an extension lead. Red to + (Positive) and Black to - (negative), separate the green and white and tape them off.

I bet many will charge via USB or some such hack as I made (for my brother's MP3 Player).

Will the Pandora ship with its own charger, or will we need to go out and buy PSP chargers?

from the e-mail sent me when I ordered

The Pandora includes a battery, power adaptor and stylus.

so yes, you get a charger, pretty obvious really, with the capacity of the cell on the Pandora (4000mah+) it would take all day to charge otherwise (usb=500ma......4000/500=8hrs at 100% efficiency)
