which is the best video player for gp32 that has full or almost full screen, good sound, and good picture quality? Can you provide me a link also? thnaks

The ONLY video player which you should even think about putting on your GP32 is GPCinema.

GPCinema is NOT free and MUST be purchased at http://joygp.entware.com/

It is VERY CHEAP (with the current exchange rate, it is less than $9 dollars) and people seem to like it so if you really want to experience DivX videos on your GP32 then I recommend you purchase it.

Like he says, dont even bother getting or trying to use anything else. GPCinema is excellent and people have got very good frame rates on it, especially with overclocking.

how good is the quality on it (like compared to a tv), are the pictures really clear? Do you only rcomend watching cartoons only, and how do you overclock the gp32 for every program's use. I have opensnes9x, but does overclocking there only overclock the gp32 when it uses the SNES emulator at that time? So how you overclock it for every program? If you overclock, how long does GPCinema last (battery)? For like 156 or 166 overclocking

Most programs inlcuding GP cinema have a built in option to turn on overclocking. It is not permanent, its different for every program. Change it as many times as you want. You can watch mostly anything on it, I watched a clip of a fight scene from reloaded and found it watchable. Since the gp32 screen is so small, things look a ton better on it compared to your tv/pc monitor. The sound is pretty much fine, if you use low quality video options your video will be more pixelated but take up less space, sound will be crackling if you set it too low as well. There is a good guide for setting it up that should help you find good middle ground. The quality is pretty impressive id say.

 By far GPcinema has the best overall video of ANY hand held unit i'v seen . from gba to Pocket PC's . .. with 16bit color 20+ FPS and 44.1Khz sound thats better then some TV shows on cable haha. only thing I want is a Hard drive plugged into the USB for MEGA storage of movies.
(can be done with some clever code, needs external power for the drive though.)
(or on the other hand I'v seen people use SM'Cs stripped to the connectors and drives added that way. .. NOT ON GP32's . was just test bench stuff.. )

ok. well GPCIN RULES.

after i get GPcinema how do i get movies on to it, and how big are those files?
Do i need to get a new SMC?

you can manage to have between 500K and 1M per minute
So make the count
You should use 2 pass encoding to save some Megabytes

see you ;)

I bought another SMC to hold more divx...you should but you can manage to have both MP3/DivX/games on the same....dont expect too much
