Well as I understand it the process of emailing should be over by now?

I'm from North America and didn't get an email or a refund, Im really hoping my order really went through.

Any others from NA that didn't receive an email?

cheers

It's not over until they say it is. I'm also from NA and haven't received an email, but it's been so long and I'm assuming they're going down the list of people in line that I'm pretty sure that most people who haven't received one by now probably aren't going to.
Keep checking your email though

I'm in North America, and probably one of the first few pre-orders here, and I have yet to receive any email. I don't think anybody from North America has said they've been contacted yet. I'm too lazy to find the relevant post, but the orders are being processed by region and North America just so happens to be last, so I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet. It seems to me (just more speculation to add to these boards) that this mess will not be sorted out by the end of the week.

<------------------ Another one who preordered and has not received an email regarding refunds/reordering. Is it 100% that every single person will have to reorder? Are there any exceptions to this? Is it possible any are not affected by the re-order fiasco? Too many questions......................... I still have absolute faith in the project and can't wait to get my hands on a Pandora but I wish this whole re-order things was clearer.

Seriously dude, the answer is in the first sentence of the information we've had for two weeks.

As you know, some (not all) credit card orders will have to be refunded and the orders re-placed with the new bank.

Hope this helps. I haven't been contacted yet either, so either we're in the lucky group or they're not done sending out the emails yet.

Hehe, I like how you went from small to big on the font size with the second sentence :p

No email or refund here either. I'm in Utah, USA and I ordered late Saturday... Is it possible that no one in NA needs to re-order?

possible, but unlikely. no one really knows anyway. Its more likely that they just haven't gotten to NA yet since they're doing those last. I just hope they give the all-clear by tomorrow, the tension is killing me, lol

--->From Korea but used a french card ('cause I'm french..) to pay and I did not get any email or refund as well...

Look, I am someone who loves the potential here, has prepaid and am waiting this out and hoping.

That being said, the apologists need to be more realistic. This is a mess-up of the F-BOMB level. The original ordering was borked. This refund process is borked. The lack of of communication is borked.

I am tired of the "they don't have time" argument. We all know how long it takes to update a blog.

If this were ANY other community other than the one I have been a lurker on for YEARS I would have given up long ago (as I suspect many others would have).

Now don't get me wrong, I have paid, I haven't sent an email requesting refund (albeit, admittedly, I am skeptical how quickly I would get one anyway) and I am in it for the long haul. But let's stop pretending that CRAIGIX and co are doing this right.

The lack of communication is absolutely crap. A spade is a spade. Choose your cliche.

This is the intertubes ... post 2 lines on the blog daily and make the masses happy. Otherwise, at a minimum, tell the apologists to stop. It truly only makes it worse.

If ANY of us experienced this level of customer support in any other aspect of our daily lives we would be flipping. It's commendable that Craig and others have earned this level of leniency. But they shouldn't abuse it under the guise of "we are too busy".

wow, way to stay on topic.

I'm sick of shit like this. People need to learn to speak for themselves. Don't lump me in with your all-too-apparent lack of patience and tact. The reason they deserve our leniency is because this is a VERY small group of regular people doing something that they've never had experience doing before. They are not a well-established company or a major distributor, so the same expectations should by no means apply. This is all new to them, and many setbacks should have been foreseen on your part. If you can't deal with that that's your problem. No one is saying they've done everything right, but the things that have gone wrong were hardly in their control to begin with. As for the blog thing, what more do you want to know? They can't post what they don't have. Its all a matter of waiting now, on their part and especially on ours. They can't post information they don't have, and they've given their word that we'll have updates as soon as they're relevant. From what we've all heard they're working very hard & late nights for all of us. I hardly see where you get off saying they're somehow 'abusing' the leniency they've garnished.

No email yet for me either.

So yeah, hopefully we're all just part of that "not all" group and won't have to deal with the refund/re-order.

How about how far through the process they are? Maybe just a 'we are 90% through UK refunds' or 'we have finished the UK and Euro refunds and are now on to the US refunds' etc. would be nice, and would only take them a couple of minutes (at most) to update.

I'm told that refunds are going a bit slower than expected, but they are going. I should have a decent update for everybody in the next day or two.

They have a blog system set up that's updated once a fortnight, if we're lucky.

Yeah - they're busy. But not too busy to not drop by these boards leaving cryptic comments in obscure threads that Chip has to later gather, explain and update.

Consequence9: This is as on topic as any thread stays in this place <_<

Here's a case in point ... this *could* have been blogged ...

My vote is to give Chip access to the openpandora.org blog so he can update it with titbits.

Chip for Blogger!!!
