For wooden cabs, you probably have to take a hammer to them in order to get the things apart.

have a look HERE

for more info and stuff about the 1000 in 1 pcb. its basically a pc that has jamma connectors. but i dont think its as simple as that as ive read about adding stuff and its not quite as simple as adding games to a pc. Theres plenty of games on it tho. People have been adding bigger hard drives and faster cpus and stuff for better performance in some games.

I think its great but im still a bit annoyed at the not getting it up the stairs yet and the little accident that happend today wich is why my arm is killing me at the moment. My mum isnt happy about it being down the stairs and the fact that due to the accident earlier there is a bit of the flooring that will need fixed at the bottom of the stairs where it came flying down.

Sounds very dangerous, glad you are ok...
I may be just cos I should get some sleep soon, but my only idea is tie some rope around it and have someone pull it from the top of the stairs and two people below it to guide and push. if anyone slips, the guy( s) with the rope can stop it falling back down.
Otherwise brute force and luck...

took the monitor out last night wich has took a bit of weight out it. Goin to see what else can take out then get at least 4 people this time.

That is exactly the technique we used to get my mates pinball upstairs. Was surprising easy once we had worked out the technique!

Its in my room now :D:D. Me and a friend did it on our own ! either my friend was alot stronger than my brother or the monitor coming out made a big difference :D. Still tryin to fix my room as my room is still a mess and i have the ki cab plus 2 pachislo machines in my room now :D. I will probably take some pics later :D.

Nice cab, Cabbages. I was thinking about getting one of those 1000 in 1 pcb's too at first. I would have gotten it if it didn't have moving parts (e.g. hdd and fan) like a real arcade board. I figured since it's just a PC, i might as well go the PC route.

What version of the 1000-in-1 board do you have? is it like the game list below? this was the one I was going to get.

These days, I've been interested in getting mame to run as accurately and as fast as possible without spending too much money on it. I've got some benchmarks below for my overclocked E6300 from a recent 64bit compile of mame 0.127.

I think it is that list but ive started adding to it today. Its not as easy as just adding roms since its all run through a front end and a chinese windows 2000.
Today my new 2.8ghz cpu came so i replaced the 1.7 with the 2.8 and then added killer instinct and it runs full speed :p so now my killer instinct cab is running killer instinct form my 1000 in 1 :p
Killer instinct running on my cab :D

Also i have my 160gb working now so have plenty of room to add stuff :D

The 1000 in 1 or xxxx in 1 as its is calle dby peopel since you can add stuff to it is great and i think its better this way than building a mame cab. I can use my 1000 in 1 and also since my cab is still jamma i can plug in normal jamma pcbs.
