Change-logQUOTE
* Integrado el frontend Capex, adaptado por Juanvvc y los skins de Jurk. Gracias a ambos
* Cambios en el código de sonido para evitar las pérdidas de sincronización cuando los juegos van a pocos fps.
* Corregido el modo tv-out
* Cambios en los controles para juegos con orientación vertical: L:Fire 3 R:Fire 4 Y:Vol- X:Vol+
* CPS1: Cambios en la emulación del sonido
* CPS1: Cambiada la configuración de dipswitches por defecto para permitir continuar la partida.
* CPS2: Cambios en la gestión de memoria. Todos los juegos son jugables sin necesidad de archivos de caché.
* NEOGEO: Cambios en la gestión de memoria. Funcionan algunos juegos más (Metal Slug 1 por ejemplo).
* Corregido el Air Gallet
* Nuevos juegos "calientes": Fantasia, Fantasy '95, Fantasia II (Explicit), Fantasia II (Less Explicit), Gals Hustler, Miss Mister World '96 (Nude), Miss World '96 (Nude), New Fantasia, Super Model, Zip & Zap

Extremely poor translation attempt:
-integrated with Capex frontend by Juanvvc and skins by Jurk
-Changed sound management for games that lose synchronization when the frame rate gets very low
-fixed tv-out
-Changed controls for vertical shooting shooting games
-CPS1 - Changes in sound emulation
-CPS1 - Changed dipswitch configuration (and something about continuing games?)
-CPS2 - Changed memory management - all games are playable without needing cache archive
-Neogeo - Changed memory management - more games working?
-Fixed Air Gallent
-'Hot' new games

Great! Thanks HeadOverHeels, Juanvvc, & Jurk (and everyone else involved). :)

Time to update the compatibility list. ;)

Awesome! This will make the Australia Day weekend that much better. Thanks!

I wonder what the new games are?
Fantasia, Fantasy '95, Fantasia II (Explicit), Fantasia II (Less Explicit), Gals Hustler, Miss Mister World '96 (Nude), Miss World '96 (Nude), New Fantasia, Super Model, Zip & Zap

unfortunately all new games have screen upside down [ miss nude 96 / gals hustler ... ]

@ Head Over Heels

One little request. Capex had "rompath1" "rompath2" etc. It would be very useful if you could add this feature so that the frontend could examine serveral directories and not have "./roms" hardcoded.

EDIT:
Also, would it be useful to have the "underclocking CPU" feature? Could gain quite a few FPS in some cases especially since many games just have busy-wait states anyway.

Thanks for the update. Very much appreciated.

Is frameskipping enabled by default on this emu? It seems like frameskipping is happening, which I would rather not have. Is there any way to disable it, if it is enabled? I'm using the latest b07 with capex frontend. Thanks.

Thanks, nice update. The sound seems better now too.

I did notice that Capex doesn't save some settings though, small bug. If I set windowing options it only works until you shut off.

Thanks, Rivroner. Settings seem to be saving fine now. :)

Edit: Is an image pack for the Capex skin floating about?

Would be cool, if the Folders could be selected, so we could use a existing ROM and Image Folder (CPS2 Capex/MAME for example). ^^ Oh, and because I only have MERGED Roms, maybe Capex could detect this correctly (Booth CPS2 and FBAX Emu )

Very good work. I like CAPEX. :)

I'm very busy and dont follow all news but it's nice to see someone create another frontend based on Capex :)
But it's pitty that nobody continu CPS2EMU for CPS1 compatibility ...

Is the code base of FBA or CPS2EMU more suited to CPS-1 games? Is FBA good enough?

I can't get NeoGeo games to load on FBA2x. I used the same versions that I used for all the other FBA roms, taken from a final set built for the FBA emu for PC. In cases where there was no NG rom in FBA for PC, I used the set from MAMEGP2X.

Is there a specific set I should try to use? I'd like to see how the NG games play on FBA2X, and maybe get away from too many niche emus. Plus FBA2x not needing those big image dumps is nice too.

Any advice? Thanks.

Currently, not all NeoGeo games are working. Also, make sure that the ROM sets follow the ones in FB Alpha v0.2.96.72.

Check also the Compatibility List I made, to see which games work. (It's still for Beta 6 though; I'll update it soon. :rolleyes: )

Have you remembered neogeo.zip?

Yeah, you know, i was thinking about that. Somewhere in this thread, though, someone mentioned something about "not needing bios's" or something to that effect. I'll drop neogeo.zip in and check again. Because the NG games I put in were strictly in compliance with the b06 compatability list. Thanks for that nudge.
