Lunar Eclipse

I watched it until it was fully eclipsed. Went to sleep after that so I missed the "blood" part, shame, I would've waited if I knew. Nice clip btw.

Thanks.

It was a long, cold night. Clouds almost spoilt it too, but I persisted, and got the series of shots I've been trying to get for about 5 years! Not like you get many chances, and virtually every Eclipse over the last few years has been a washout because of cloud.

We popped out at about 11.30PM to witness it, fortunately the moon was exposed most of the time.

edit: thanks for the link though, we were worried that we'd missed the good bit! Turns out nope, we didn't! Definitely Conan the barbarian weather! :)

I totally saw that, it was beautiful, cheers Axeman for the fab pics, and ED, when my GP2x comes through the post, that's SO going on there.

I took a couple of pictures but they're not great on account of my camera having a low optical zoom. I stood and watched it for a while, looked nice.

Thanks for the great photography, Axeman. I remember the August 1999 total solar eclipse, that was incredible. Ah how time flies :(

my man adam has alot of talent in various pockets....

those pictures are amazing.... espesh for a poor weekend worker who got to see nothing

Unfortunately I got the tail-end of it here as it was still quite bright out to see the moon. Additionally, us north americans missed out on the beautiful colorings this time through :(

I'd like to visit a place that sees a total solar at some time in my life. I had a brilliant science teacher (brilliant to the point of being a little creepy) who literally traveled all over the globe to catch almost every solar eclipse that has happened- for almost 30 years!
