Hiya all,

Well, it's next weekend now - for details of what will be there go here :-

Amigabigbash.net

and here for the exibitors :-

http://amigabigbash.net/exhibitors.html

We're looking on it as more of a meet-up than anything else, and a chance for as many of us as possible to get together for a good old chinwag and some swapping of stories, Gp22/GP32 stuff etc. There's a bar there too :p

Craig will be there with a stall for gp2x.co.uk, so hopefully he'll be able to shift a few units to those of you who are still to dip your toes in the gp2x waters.

We're using this a a testbed - if there's enough interest this year, we'll do our best to make it a hell of a lot bigger (in a retro sense) next time. So get your forum hat on and make your way down to peterborough for a bit next weekend!

I'll be there, and I'm hopoing to meet as many of you as possible! Come and introduce yourself to us!

Cya there!

looks like i definately wont be going :( mentioned it a few weeks ago but its me and my best mates 30th birthday next thursday and we are taking over a pub on the friday (day before big bash) for an almighty drink up to celebrate our old age :) we was planning to go to the bash with a few friends then go clubbing in peterborough after but I dont think we will be in any fit state to do it on the saturday :)

i hope it goes well and everyone has a good time! sorry i couldnt be there!

Any chance theres a train station anywhere near the venue? I think thats my only hope of coming cos I don't have a car... unless anyone from Sheffields going down and wants some money towards petrol for a lift down?

http://amigabigbash.net/directions.html

" If you are travelling by train please click here for directions from Peterborough train station. The venue is in walking distance from the train station"

Nb. The distance between train station and venue is just approx just under 2 miles, so roughly a 25 min walk, or 5 mins by taxi.

Hope this is of help :)

3 Months (less one day) for me.........

Hello! First post here, and I'm most definitely going to be at the Big Bash!
Hope to meet a few of you there. :)

It's a shame for me it's on that weekend... I'd have been up for it otherwise. Hope you all have a great time :)

Maybe there could be a gathering in the north of England sometime later in the year?

North of England would be better for me too, but i'd really like to attend. Any ideas what games are going to be played in the LAN gaming tournament Craig?

The trick is to start counting backwards after you reach 30.
I'm currently enjoying being 29 again

There's no excuse for me NOT to go! It's.. Amiga, man, and I live there! I wanna see the Mini-mig! And all the awesome stuff they have there! But what kind of LAN game would be played at an Amiga convention? o.o I'll have to see. =P
