So stop replying (as I am doing) so my hart doesn't skip every time I get a mail: Topic Subscription Reply Notification ( gp32x.de Board [GP32 GP2X XGP] )

that is why I never subscribe... :D
everyone making his own post just to tell that nothing is new and that people want update...

see you

PS: sorry for all the folks that will come here to look if a new alpha is released :p

Good news here :)

I've found out some VERY interesting improvements in the emulator core that will benefit ALL platforms speed-wise, and there's a possibility (read: a *possibility*) that these finds will make the dynarec's speed shine.

I think zodttd said here, that the dynarec seems like it's being "hold" by something, in the sense that it could make things go faster, but something else is preventing it. Well, maybe I found a way to prevent that something from interfering, or at least reduce the problem :)

Nevertheless, it WILL help performance one way or the other :)

Gonna talk to zodttd or Unai as soon as one of them goes online :p

I don't understand the secrecy in this thread. Is this project eventually going to be pay-to-play or something? Just seems like a lot of closed source/closeted information going on with this project for no apparent reason.

Do you want me to go technical and in the details?

Improvement A: shift the interrupt counters' bias the other way around

Improvement B: move the interrupt checking from branches to every X cycles

Feeling better now? :)

That sounds good, can't wait.

Do you think there will be a public update soon? Or will these tweaks take months before everything runs smoothly and works together?

Public, non-perfect beta's have a nasty habit of transforming goodmannered forum-dwellers into frothing, meanspirited whining bastard.

Yes, much better. Thanks.

Makes for a much more interesting post and has a much greater potential to foster meaningful discussion.

Seriously thanks for providing some actual detail.

No problem :p

Not sure about others, but usually I don't say too much technical stuff since most people wouldn't understand :p And then to avoid stuff like "now explain that to me..." heh :)
