Dynarec Completed For Psx4all Project.

OK I got it working, I had to get the newer (7502) bios and rename it, now everything loads great! Low FPS on Resident Evil 1 unfortunately, but I think that is because of my slow SD card. I have a new 150x 2gb SD card ordered, so I'm hoping that will help (along with awaiting the new version of the Dynarec to be made available! yay!).

Hrmmm, is it dmaChainTime or dmaMemTime that lets me know if my SD card is going slower than it should? I'm getting way slower results than X-Code posted, but I'll keep fiddling see if I can make it any better :)

Seems better when your on your own on the screen. When it's just my character in a room I'm getting 18-22 FPS, slows down to < 10 with someone else there as well. Soooo cool just having this running on a handheld though :p

I know where I live too , but it was in fact a serious post ( excluding the last line that is ) B)

Seems normal... I've got about 12FPS in the intro scene, juste after they enter the manor, at 270mhz, and get more when only my character is on screen (which is normal, since there is less 3D-character to render)

I have a question to Zodttd or to X-code if he has an answer, I noticed that most of the games listed to be tested (I know that others will also test other titles, but am saying this since X-Code has shared his list with us) that most of these games are PAL, if a PAL game was reported to function in X fps under certain clock speed, would it function the same way if it was NTSC? Or is it a most that the NTSC version will differ a lot compared to the PAL's? Honestly all my PSX collection is in NTSC, and I hope Psx4all compatibility won't suffer a lot from different color systems.

Fırst of all.. I want to thank the coders on this project for their hard work. İ´ve been monitoring the project for a few months now.

Thanks a lot. You are making this world a better place. Really. :)

You have my word that when you are all finished with this project, I will ´buy´ a copy - donate to you.

For now, I´m really satisfied with the results of FFVII going very good on 266Mhz, except.. I don´t get the save to work. When I try ınside the game I get no memory slot and when İ try the ıngame menu İ get error savıng state 1 or 3 4 5 and so on. İt hangs when tryıng to save on slot 2.

Maybe this has been said before and it´s simply because the ingame save sluts .. err.. slots dont work or that the memory slots havent been emulated yet. In that case i apologies for asking stupid questions and retreat to my laıre. gp32_console

Thanks.

I guess that they will perform just about the same :)

I hope you are right, what would Z say? will they perform just the same?

...if they could just double the speed, almost everything would be playable.

That's just not that easy you know ;)

But that's great news!

Thanks!

X-Code, cant you just tell us if FF 9 works now? :p I mean, come on, you dont have to tell how it performs, but saying that it boots now would be great :)

From my experience when using emulators on a "limited pc" in the past... changing the region of the game from PAL to NTSC makes very little if, any difference to performance of the emulator.

From you experience, is it something bounded by a law? like, should performence increase/decrease when changing from PAL to NTSC? or you just see "some kind of change"? sorry to bother everyone with this subject, but having more than 100+ NTSC games and only a PAL Demo 1 disc makes me worried about this alot.

The basic point I was trying to make is, no it shouldn't make any difference.

x-code is hard as stone!

serious:
It is important to keep the loyality! ;)

It's not really a matter of loyalty, it's a matter of betatesting , I have many tests to do, and there are many optimizations to be done, it is why I don't post stats... YET B)
