what is the longest movie length i could put onto my 128 card ( with fairly good quality)
also could you transfer a dvd onto the smc and how long would it take?

got the matrix 2 on a SMC right now. 2:12 minutes, 120mb. I don't have a smc reader so i have to use the build in USB thing, and it takes quite a while. don't know exactly how long though.

Think about that question for a second, a dvd movie is a couple gigs. Your smc is at max 128mb there is no way you could copy a dvd on to that. Gp cinima and movie park are not dvd players they don't play dvd video formats so whatever you have you must convert it to the correct divx format needed to be played on the gp32. If you do this you should be able to fit about 2 hours on a 128mb smc it will take some time to encode the file and transfer it over to the card.

about the DVD question, I convert DVD to divx a lot for my GP32, cause my internet speed is so crappy. I like the results, and it probably takes about 3 hours total to do it, although it takes me all day to get the virtaul dub results just how I like them.

All the free player suck. You should really get GPcinema.
