yeah so basically anyone wanna help me out? How do i play games from a supercard/flashcart? What do I need, and is it worth it, or is it horrendously complicated? Any decent faqs out there for me? Also, any tips for shops selling supercards, or better yet, anyone selling one? Most importantly, do online games work online, or is there something preventing it with downloaded things

Sorry to be a pain and real off the questions, ill love you forever and post a horrific image if someone helps me out!

Oh id just like to point out I do buy most games i like, I just like to try them first/let me girlfriend play shite games she wants but I dont wanna buy!

I got a supercard sd. its good. I got a magic key wich is basically a passme and its all very easy. Then i got a ds lite and found that i would nee dto get a different passme :( but then i saw the max media launcher wich is better. Works on all firmwares and is just teh size of a ds cart :D

The passkey2 works with both the old and new DS's thanks to a small switch on the back.

BTW im using the M3 Perfect

i know but i had a normal passme. This max media launcher is much better it dosnt stick out the top coz its just like a ds game. I know you can flash the ds ( i flashed my normal ds) but you dont really need to flash if you have the max thingy. Its vcheaper too, including postage it came to £15.49

sorry, but it's a fact that the m3 is the best on the market. it's near flawless. In fact, i doubt a $25.00 devive could actually compete ;)

The Media Max replaces the PassMe, not the M3 Movie Player GBA Cart. And it looks like it replaces it incredibly well. The only problem I've seen is that sleep mode is funny, and they say that's been fixed in recent versions.

Datel MML = $19.99 + S&H
Supercard miniSD = $49.99 + S&H

Looks quite a bit cheaper than what the M3+PassMe2 costs, and I've read that it has the same compatibility. If anyonye has any experience with the combination I've just mentioned, let me know, beacuse I think I'll be getting the MML and Supercard combo soon :D

It boggles my mind that people are still wasting money on passme type carts when there is flash-me. You can buy a compatible ethernet card for $25 shipped that will let you use wifi-me (enabling you to flash your DS from your cart).

on top of that, that same $25 card i got from newegg comes with software to function as a wireless access point. This kills two birds with one stone, for people who dont have a wireless router. Or, you could use it broadcast some of those DS demos that have been captured.

I have read that flashme has considerable problems with the DS lite.

I have a passme2 + Supercard SD, flashed the NDS with the passme2 and now it just sits in its box. absolutely no problems at all...

...except for one actually, but it was my fault for not waiting for a proper patched tetris... wiped my mario64 savegames I did. :'(

Im still a little confused here...how is an m3 perfect better than a supercard? They seem to do the same thing, but one costs around twice the price. Also, if I only need my passme to flash the ds, would it be possible for me to borrow someones, in a cheeky kinda way? Obviously id post it back and everything...

There is a side by side review of the Supercard and M3 side by side on gbatemp.net, you have to be a member to read the review though so join up to check it out.

Yes you could borrow someones passme and flash the NDS, don't look at me though I am in Australia... ;)

thats a very decent review and the site looks pretty hot too, cheers for the info. From what I can tell, the supercard is slightly lower build quality, but in my opinion, the price difference makes it the better value for money. anyone here own both? Cheers for all the info thoguh guys, its much appreciated.

Nope. New version supports screen brightness adjustment also. If you flash with old version, it would just stay at whatever version you had it set at.

You are best advised to check the supercard GBA compatibility list at:

http://www.rothmans.joskeonline.com/supercardsite/

before you get a supercard. You might find the games that you want to play run just fine.

I already have a EZflash2 powerstar for GBA games so this isn't an issue for me!
Ouch... LOTS of games I want to play don't work :( M3 it is!
