Gp2x Is Going On G@mers

Friday morning you will be in school, plus we are going for a more older audience.

I am having a job with the producer, he is not very keen on payback and will not run any emus on the show due to legal issues.

Any other suggestions?

If you get the original games or own them you can claim you dumped them yourself. Gamezville on skyone showed the gp32 playing a emulator on television infront of probably what is a much larger audiance than you will be, this was back when the show was remotely OK. I found out about the gp32 from that.

Show vektar

show payback

show bubble train thingey

show some others.

Vectar is always good
movie qualities are also good,
im sure he can mention what it can emulate. If people hear it can emulate sms and other stuff. im sure that will catch some peoples attention
125£ aint bad for a movie player lol considering iriver's 1gb costs the same price and cant play games.
portable music system, its quite load and quality is not bad. good enough to rock out your office or school!
it can also view pictures, and the screen quality is good (the photos i take on my 3megapixel camera are very nice looking on that screen).
mention that it is homebrew, anyone can make games for it.and its easy no restrictions a la sony
mention this great forum and the help you get
Show him some homebrew games such as super tux and the minigame project
Mention how the console is always being improved thanks to firmware upgrades and coders doing stuff for the gp2x
battery life is 5h
you have options to save battery life on movie player
SD cards are now very cheap and most sd's are compatible now.
the very nice tune when it loads up - which you can also change
it has an e-book which i find is pretty good now, also a program you can download which reads your text out for you in a funny voice.
you can also delete stuff using the console, you dont have to plug it into your computor
show them the yeti demo, very impressive, that shows off its graphical abilities (sorry i cant find the download link, mayby someone else knows where it is)
You can also show the xynth windowing system, kinda poor stuff but proves a point.
Quite comfortable to hold - buttons as good as psp
you can customize alot of your gp2x, eg new stick comming out and dave C's cap
erm it has TV-out, which is now supported by most emu's
heck im sure theres other things, but thats quite good already
o yes and it might have wi-fi soon
theres a few things you can connect it to now, just cant think what right now
well hope that helped

I agree that Payback and Vektar would be cool to show off, but I also think showing CloneKeen2X would be a good idea.

I've been playing CloneKeen2X non-stop since yesterday and it's really amazing. I know the title makes it sound like some lame clone, but it's really an interpreter of the first three CK games, and they all run flawlessly.

I'm sure showing that would have a lot of old-school PC gamers sold on GP2X. ;)
