You should make a button combiation to get back to the ROM selector menu. If you put it in this would be one of the MAME EMUs ever! (If he already has one tell me. I might of missed it.)

From the readme:

Buttons L+R+PUSH simultaneously: Exit to selection menu to select another game.

Thanks Franxis for this update...
Nice improvements on some "heavy duty" games (Varth for exemple, is a game I always test with your releases).
As I said before, your Mame Gp2X is on the top of my "to do-nate" list !

Perhaps I am missing something obvious, but how do you get the new games to work?? I tried a current MAME version of Gaplus (which is the parent no?), and it won't load. Also the dat hasn't been updated since 1.8, so I can't run it through clrmame if a conversion is needed. What must be done to get it running?

I haven't got the updated DAT yet, sorry :(

Probably [MaD] will send me the updated DAT soon.
After that i will put a download to the DAT in my webpage...

AFAIK you can download from www.mame.net/oldmame.html an old mame version and use it to create a dat file with ClrMame Pro.

Regards,
Stephan

I would advise against doing that for the entire set, because any of the ROMS could have changed between versions, since GP2X is a combination of several versions of mame. Although it would probably work for creating sets for the newly added roms.

It's just the older sets you have to worry about.

Yes, of course it is only a temporary solution for the new added sets, like gaplus. Changing your working sets with Clrmame Pro didn't make any sense either...
