Psp Umd Iso Shrinker V1.0

Ive not been keeping up with teh PSP scene very well it seems, I take it UMD isos are now bootable from a memory stick? Are all games now "ripable", or are there exceptions?

Also, whats the front on firmware v2.0, is it just a matter of time or more serious?

i think its more serious, 1.51 or 1.52 havnt even been cracked, dont think they will, i think people with them pspv will just upgrade to v2 as there is nothing to 1.51 and 1.52 firmware....

so if anything is gonna get cracked most probable fw2.00 will be cracked first! but by then probable a new version of fw will be released...

Indeed. If I had a 1.51 and 1.52 I'd deffo upgrade to 2.00. Surely now, all hacking attention in regards to firmware has shifted attention to 2.00.

The best thing about running isos from your memory stick is the load times. It really does make a huge difference. I haven't noticed that much of a change in battery time, but the load times are greatly improved.

I get much better battery life as well.

You notice it if you play a lot of games which stream music direct from the UMD.

Loading times are also much improved.

This isn't just about piracy, there are several reasons why you would want to back up games you actually own and run them from the mem stick as well.

im having a bitch of a time trying to get my backup for lumnies to boot from the memory stick it just starts to load then goes back to the psp operation system screen,

which is damn annoying

1.0 by the way,

kop you upgraded to 1.50 yet, same goes for all 1.0 users here :)
